I got the pc OP described but with an i5 7500 instead of a 6400.
PoE still goes from 500 fps when nothing happens to 40-45 in a situation with 25+ minions and double shrine buffs. I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. PoE runs flawlessly on my 2 year old PC, albeit I did upgrade the video card as who wouldn't when Maxwel came out.
water cooled i7 4690K gtx 1080 asus mobo 2 500gb samsung ssd (not in raid) 32gb ddr3 2400mhz ram 1000w psu acer predator z35 main screen with 2 24" benq side screens load of rbg & led lighting - this is esential for poe to run smooth ! |

Yeah, gonna build almost the same rig but I'll trust to Ryzen 1600 cpu, performs as intel cpu's for that price and definitely better choice to future (+ that multitasking is so sweet)

I might get a new ssd when 3.0 comes out. Steam is getting annoying about updating POE and 1TB drives are getting cheap.
