Oops, okay I skipper over that, in which case it would work, but that feels sort of clunky. I think if I return to that character I'll stick with the no HoT solution.

Now that i've invested some more time in this build, i love it. Very funny and powerful if one can live with the occasional death :-)

Update May 10th:

- expanded flask and jewel section in the gearing chapter
- updated current gear
- added a new video
- fixed some details

did I miss anything? i keep running out of mana.

Make sure you are using the Warlords Mark setup and dont use HoI & HoT together unless you have Enlighten lv4 + a good mana roll on your Choir of the Storm.

what level does the curse on hit need to be to trigger the warlords constantly?

Why do u reach 2 "Increased area damage" nodes in passive tree. On POE Wiki they said it does not increased Ball lightning damege. Have you test it?

Concentrated Effect Support inventory icon.pngConcentrated Effect Support and "Area of Effect damage" passive nodes do not increase Ball Lightning's damage (changes to Area of Effect radius still apply).

The reason i took thoose nodes is not the area damage, but the increased area of effect. This helps with your clearspeed, makes it easier to kill fast moving bosses, and last but not least - your damage is increased. Ball Lightnings projectiles will hit the same target more often with some inc aoe, resulting in more dps.

I was lucky and had some of the items in my stash, so I roll up this toon. First impressions, if this is your 1st character, probably not the best idea. In today's market its expensive (for me at ~10ex). I've had some challenges with it but over all its a brutal build.

I leveled with dual wielding Axiom Perpetuum Bronze Sceptres which I'm having a hard time replacing. They work well. Finally got a dagger to replace one of them but it only bosted my DPS and crit by ~100 dps.

For those who are having issue with mana leveling, use Clarity. Between Clarity and having a good Mana bottle you should be fine.
