poe.trade needs major fixs or gone

Trading is everything for majority of players in POE especially for hard-cores, poe.trade has been giving us wonderful convenience way to exchange in-game items across the world. But there are some major flaws in poe.trade system that gives egregious maliciously intended players tools to manipulate the market, instead of playing the game they only spent time playing the market so they can cash in for RMT at the end.

In my opinion there are couple things need to be implemented urgently.

First, all items posted on trade will be automatically transferred to buyers inventory if a buyer was found. This is to prevent script runners posting 100s of intentionally-made cheap item so they can force other sellers to sell at their "price" then scoop all items up below market price, Ofcause they would not reply to all those "ghost" bait items posted on trade.

Second, for posted un-priced items, allow would-be buyers to place a bid on the item for w/e price they deem reasonable(for 48 hours), lock the currency until seller accept/deny or higher bid was placed.

I know this would be difficult because GGG needs to be involved heavily since they have the tendency to keep themselves out of trade realm. But something needs to happen before its too late for the game to go down like D2. Learn from WOW auction house, for over 10 years, everything was broken at least once but auction house is always functional and works as intended.

D3 had an auction house. It didn't work.

it worked you are wrong, the real money d3 ah was the problem. atm poe trade is way worse than what d3 ah was ( excluding real money ah ) . poe trade has even a sound alarm for flipping , its ridiculous imo . If you are thinking about the botting in d3 and its effect on the ah , then its the botting that is the problem not the ah.

It would work if they didn't link it with real $$ exchange rate, lots of legal issues was/will compromised. auction house needs to be functioning only on in-game currency, if real money involved it will spiral into chaos. all third-world countries like China/India would all quit their jobs and playing video games instead because items they farmed daily can sell for $10 US which is nothing is USA but alot in their country.

Poe.trade is not something GGG owns or can do anything about as far I know. Not sure why you would hold GGG responsible for outside interventions that they cannot do much about.

Sorry. OP. GGG doesn't have and doesn't want any control over what happens on that website. The day they do, is the day PoE dies.
