Thank god, life isn't that unfair!

Making content that is as long as the Lab is without save points is a poor design decision for a game that is strictly online. Disconnects happen too often in any online game.

Very rarely have I had a disconnect during a lab run, even done it off a mobile hotspot.

Um, congratulations I guess?

I'm not really sure what you expect. You're the exception, not the rule. Disconnects happen often, whether you experience them or not.

I doubt game would be played by so many if they had such bad connections that I am the lucky one.The lab is pretty quick to get through the chances of a disconnect are pretty low for the average player.

Also to back that up ,when doing Masters in a party which take as long if not longer it gives a good indicator of level of disconnects,I can't do Master rotas on Mobile hotspot but can do the lab.I mean in Master rotas not only are you in a party but your constantly switching zones. There might be like 1 in 20 people who get disconnects.

No mtx solution that's bs.

Simply: unless I died or logged out intentionally, make me appear in last safe area of lab when I got dc or game crash there.

It has safe areas before every trial and at the very beginning making them perfect checkpoints for dc situations. Why aren't they used as such puzzles me to no end, ggg could have avoided single most annoying labirynth issue this way.
Not a signature.

What the fuck is wrong with this world?
I mean, seriously!

Disconnection is an EXCEPTION, not a rule.
The guy has normal, EXPECTED, flow of the game.
And you're calling him "an exception", belittling him?
I don't know, why won't you start mocking him? Or anything similar?

This planet is fubar...
Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it.
Happiness requires effort.
Then we would all have logout macros built like true-blue hardcore players and you could claim disconnect and cheese the lab all day long!

You're reading into something that isn't there. Follow the flow of the posts to see what we were discussing: Being the exception to the rule that all online games disconnect sometimes isn't belittling. It is what it is. All online games disconnect sometimes: That is a fact.
Of course there are players who have never been d/c'd while doing a lab or whatever. I'm not sure why they're even bothering to get involved in this discussion. If power goes out in 50% of the homes in your town, do the people who still have power mock those who don't for complaining and demanding that the power company do something? It's ridiculous. The point is that it happens a LOT to MANY PLAYERS, otherwise it wouldn't be such a hot topic. I've had it happen multiple times with good internet connections while I was doing a lab or a Zana single portal mission (not to mention all the other circumstances which are less dramatic and not worth complaining about). I care, but not all that much (it is still a game, afterall). But it seems that a lot of people do care a LOT about this issue, so why not do something to remedy the situation. I'm not a gaming or programming specialist, so I don't have a suggestion. But I do think GGG should address this and find a fix before the big expansion comes out. If it happens to half the players and half of them are really pissed off, that's enough to take it seriously and do something about it.
