[R.I.P.] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Juggernaut version - R.I.P. thx to "balancing" policy

What is VoV?
And I'm repeating the question why not to take Unstoppable instead of Unbreakable?

Indigon gives you an insane Spell damage buff provided you spend enough mana, but PoB doesen't calculate that, so one usually just adds 1-2k spell damage to the item to "simulate" you having spent a great deal of mana recently.

Well if u want there is a indigon spell dmg calculator u can use, because of the mechanic of cyclone i can really get over 10K% increased spell dmg n peak at 15K%
A day w/o dealing with stupid ppl is like....Never mind. Ill tell u if it ever happens

Ok so I guess without legacy VoV it wont work as mana cost gets ridiculous high quite fast, rendering it useless in a temp league.

There must be another way.

And I think there is.

yes there is another way for sure, im debating making a build guide for it in the ranger section, doesn't reach has much dmg has my version with legacy gear but can still reach good dmg w/o any legacy gear.

In short u replace VOV by a mana flask n play it has life base so u can still use the nice 100life per endurance charge, n u can also get alot of effective HP because of the usual 4-5K mana pool with MOM. I know that there's already a couple ppl playing this build.

So mana flask on Flaskfinder? I was thinking about a different approach but so far no luck. Just theorycrafted some Templar/Inquisitor with Consecrated Ground and Templar/Hierophant with crazy mana regen in PoB (both using Soultaker - yes I know you need to actually 'spent' mana but this one is just for not dying at the boss). Im able to produce a build with 5k hp + kingsguard and free 3k mana (3.5k with MoM) for burst dmg and 600+ mana regen after that. But its still not enough. 1k Spell dmg increase for 4secs and than like 250 spell dmg increased for the rest of the fight seems not worth it. To get good results one must gain (by any way) about 2k mana in about 1 sec for constant 10 stacks on Indigon for at least 600% sustainable spell dmg increase while best would be spending & gaining back about 3k mana for 15 stacks and near 1k dmg increase - which is impossible without legacy gear as far as I know.

EDIT: I checked that Indigo calculator you mentioned and it seems it works a bit differently. You can reach a certain treshold of large spell dmg bonus by buring a lots of mana at the beggining but than it can be sustained at decent levels with less mana being spent. According to that calculator with my Hierophant with just pure mana regen I can sustain 1.6k spell dmg increase (which I gain after first 4 sec of cycloning) across 30 sec fight. This seems to be more than worth it. I will take a closer look at this.

So is the new ring a potential to replace Inya's for something better?

Yes it can be done. With rare shaper boots (for additional cdr) or Death's Door for str/all ress/+1 endu charge and bleed immunity.

Well ive seen couple ppl trying indigon mjolner life MOM n almost all of them are going with mana flask on differrent ascendancy. Personnaly i just go pathfinder to make sure it never run out of mana flask n also for the increased mana return from mana flask since that kind of build is very mana hungry. Has for the indigon stack n how it work with mana flask yes it is a little different then ppl who use poet pen since u need to always have mana up to keep the chain going, so thats why i would go for a lower mana cost n a bigger ramp up time so u gain decent amount but u never reach the max where u endup not being able to cyclone. Has for my build double legacy of vinktar paired with ball lightning fix this issue so im always full mana so i can stack indigon like crazy pass 10K spell dmg.

Meanwhile i will do more testing with a non legacy version using mana flask. I would really like to have a good guide for it going i think mjolner build could benefit from it, i think the potential is there. And that new ring is actually very good.

Also i sugguest u look at this video this person doesn't use legacy gear other then saffel n its dmg seem alot higher then the normal version.

This is where Soul Taker steps in for dual wield with Mjolner on cyclone. You can cyclone forever and only thing to worry about is having some mana pool to be burned for quick and high Indigon stacks and as much mana regen/leech as possible to sustain as max Indigon stacks as possible over time.

-----------------

So far I have this: PoB paste link

Indigon stacks: click

-----------------

230k per Discharge vs Shaper unflasked and without RF which translates to 640k sustainable Shaper DPS. This is with 5k life and 3k unreserved mana with MoM, 600+ mana regen and all that Kingsguard healing glory. Not too shabby, considering current maxed Jugg has 380k vs Shaper when RFed.

Well.. you have 5% reduced elemental dmg taken and status aligments immunity with Hierophant. Its just slightly worse than Saffels, like from 20k ele hit you will recieve 3.8k dmg instead of 3.3k dmg with Saffels.

Shavs ring (as its kinda expensive) can be replaced be either:

Capping resistances is the only real problem thou.
