" Videos completely unrelated to what you're talking about. David Pakman Show, lol. Nice try though. And approval ratings, LOL. I don't give any weight to pollsters anymore. They were sure Hillary was going to win by a landslide, and Trump #REKT it. There is one poll saying his approval is 40%. http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/13/politics/donald-trump-approval-poll-low-gallup/ Another poll says 50% http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/08/new-poll-shows-president-trumps-approval-rating-hits-50-percent/ And another one says it's 59%: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jan/25/president-trumps-approval-rating-rises-57-percent/ Last edited by MrSmiley21#1051 on Feb 15, 2017, 9:19:01 AM

" This one is also interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iiEMMcgWHA ( "NSA So Worried Over Trump Russia Ties, They're Hiding Info from Him " ) True(*) or not, I really could imagine that. That´s what I meant with "strong" or better brave and responsible. I hope the Republicans will act that way before the intelligence services are forced to. Trump might turn to full aggression towards Russia in an attempt not to lose the support of the conservatives. Would be dangerous indeed. Turkey shot a single Russian plane, that´s a controlled reaction, Putin reacted in a controlled way as well, he might need Erdogan; as a former KGB professional and aware of geostrategic results he´s not going full tilt. But Trump is not a controlled and professional person, instead a dangerous and unqualified amateur. Or - as the German magazine "Der Spiegel" wrote(tranls.): "a child in an elevator pushing all buttons". Hopefully it´s not more than 8 years but instead only the next few months as I expected just before the inauguration. edit: (*) seems to be true: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/nsa-donald-trump-team-ties-russia-mike-flynn-national-security-adviser-daily-intelligence-briefings-a7576986.html Last edited by Schmodderhengst#7293 on Feb 15, 2017, 9:36:16 AM

" No, he was certainly instructed by Bannon or Trump. But Trump could be careless and unprofessional enough to mention things in a phone call with Putin he should not mention. I don´t think that´s a surprise. Last edited by Schmodderhengst#7293 on Feb 15, 2017, 9:44:54 AM

Here is what Trump needs to do to find the leakers. Release a different tidbit of completely false information to a number of different people, and depending on what gets leaked, that would isolate who's leaking the information to probably a handful of people. Then fire that handful of people. This could be something as benign as the date and time for a meeting, that was intended to be kept private.

So, he whole US government works for the KGB. Makes sense, totally believable.
" Why are neocons so obsessed with Russia? Can someone explain this? Why is RU always the enemy #1, to the point that US governments would support even neonazis and islamic terrorists, in their efforts against Russia. When night falls

" Bannon and Trump were planning to lift sanctions (not supported by Democrats or Republicans) on Russia in the first place. Unprofessional as they are, they sent Flynn to talk to the Russians, unaware it´s illegal, that´s what happened. |

" So what? He needed specifics on a treaty? Lawyers are expected to be familiar with law, but not all of them can keep encyclopedias in their brains all the time. Which is why they have dozens or hundreds of books to use as reference material. You're making a huge deal out of nothing. And it's not even remotely related to the potential for WW3. Trump's position toward the Russians is less hostile than that of previous administrations. People in the USA are getting tired of the cold-war-era bullshit lingering over, and a lot of people don't feel the need to be adversarial to the Russians anymore. It's just not in the interests of normal people anymore. When my father's generation as kids were having to take cover underneath desks in random nuclear drills, that's when the threat was enough where normal people should care. The plumber coming over to fix your toilet, or the guys coming over to fix the leak in your roof don't give a shit about Russia taking some territory on the other side of the globe. The politicians putting an emphasis on positions people don't give a shit about while ignoring the issues that the Plumbers, Roofers, and every day citizens care about is the reason why Trump got elected. NATO isn't even that relevant anymore. The Russian's aren't nearly as strong as they were during the cold war. They're no longer capable of rolling through Europe unopposed. They might roll through a few former Soviet Block states, but that guarantees they start WW3. And the Russians don't have the military to fight WW3. I'm not even sure Russia could beat a combination of France and Germany. There is enough of a deterrent to keep them from invading anyone else, with or without NATO. The Russians don't even want to get directly involved in Ukraine beyond taking the Crimea, which happened because Barack Obama was weak. They're using proxies like Novorussia to do the fighting in Ukraine. And the USA has been doing the same in some conflicts as well. Last edited by MrSmiley21#1051 on Feb 15, 2017, 10:05:39 AM
