PoE 1 Xbox servers are restarting in: .
They should be back up in approximately .PoE 1 Sony servers are restarting in: .
They should be back up in approximately .GGG WHY POE TRADE?
Probably it's because nothing happens with AH implementation for this 6 months...?

" Yep, still hoping. My choice would be an EQ2 style system, selling from your house/hideout from a limited number of 'vendor storage boxes' (limited as in lots but not infinite). GGG could do a 1 time free conversion from the current stash tabs, then sell them as additional MTX's. Bots can't spam the AH, they have to physically move to the hideout, so that problem is solved. Space is not infinite, so there is at least some reason not to list everything that drops, problem solved. Buying and selling can be done when the seller is busy, afk or not online, problem solved. Since EQ2 was doing that many years ago, it's not new technology that GGG can't handle (I hope), problem solved. |

" And it won't ever. GGG has said multiple times that they will not add a click to buy auction house to the game. U MAD?

" Is it uncommon for game developers to go back on their word once they see the fanbase IS REALLY ASKING FOR IT? Is it uncommon for people to change their minds? Here's the issue with this whole situation: Y'ALL BIMBOS ARE TOO AFRAID OF WHAT HAPPENED TO DIABLO 3 AND EVERYTIME SOMEONE MENTIONS A INGAME TRADE SYSTEM YOU AUTOMATICALLY THINK: (proceed with caution, the below term is highly dangerous and might kill you in real life)
Spoiler
EVIL SPAWN DIABLO 3 AUCTION HOUSE!
BUT THERE IS MORE!!!!DID YOU KNOW THAT?! THERE ARE GAMES OUT THERE WITH WORKING INGAME TRADE SYSTEMS! ARPGS!!! WHY DON'T WE LOOK AT THESE INSTEAD OF LOOKING AT THE FAILURES? sorry for the caps, people who think only on the defensive irritate me (my bad), it has been mentioned, you can just take poe.trade and make it acessible ingame without the use of a third party software. Ok, so no click to buy, but how about a mobile app? Not everyone can be at their PC at all times, but a mobile app linked to your PoE account that can access your inventory, and others with the mobile app could use it to trade via the mobile app with anyone who has the mobile app. They could even sell the mobile app, or require premium stash tabs to use it, or something like that.

People so afraid of AH. But:
1. poe.trade is AH already. But AH with a lot of flaws and problems. 2. A lot of games have AHs and feel good (like WoW). 3. Diablo 3 AH was failed not because AH was bad, but because D3 is a game with limited count of builds and gear choices, which is not true for PoE. 4. It's possible to allow items exposure in AH for limited time and for price, if they are afraid of huge supply increase on the market. NPC vendor is a bad solution, because: 1. What's difference with AH? Just more troubles with buying process. 2. Generally I don't want to see any outsiders in my h/o. (Right now it's really big problem, because I have to add people to party for trade, and sometimes I have opened portals to important locations, which I don't want to share. And even don't mention stories about people stealing Cadiro offers for example.) | |
" 1. The extra 'trouble' would slow down the bots, at least a bit. 2. No party invite would be required so they would have no ability to use your stuff, including maps. Again using EQ2 as an example, you could set the access on your home to allow trades or not, and many people ended up getting into the spirit of decorating and showing off. My favourites were the giant aquariums. :) |

" Not if both sides have to use the mobile app to open a trade window. It's no different than using buttons, and clicks on a PC to do the same thing. You just don't actually have to be at PC/laptop to do trades. Or you could be logged in on your PC, and still use the mobile app to do trades. They'd need some sort of infrastructure similar to poe.xyz to support the mobile app though. They could put a wait time for the transactions to be processed. Or just put a timer on trades via the mobile app. Something like 5 minutes. It could work like this, link your account to the mobile app, and all the items in your premium stash tabs, and currency tabs show up in the mobile app. You can then use the mobile app to specify prices for those items. FYI, select the item, select chaos orb input 52. Additional notes obo (or best offer). Maybe even allow players to setup a store page with the mobile app. Other than that, it functions the same way a regular trade does. Last edited by MrSmiley21#1051 on May 4, 2017, 10:39:52 AM
