[2.4] Ice Spear Perma Freeze Elementalist

I have a tabula rasa and i want another gem but i don't know what to choose...maybe spell echo than increased critical damage? or something else...

You have enough CritMulti.
SpellEcho is better than CritDmg gem.

I have another question : why did you boost the AoE damage and radius, I fail to understand how it affects ice spear? Does it have a radius?

i'm kind of getting bored of ed and am thinking of rerolling this build in essence league as it seems interesting and is outside the meta. what mods should this build avoid? also is it atziri (normal and/or uber), guardians and shaper viable?

AoE node for Vortex and OoS curse range.
4 of 7nodes are path.
I think AoE nodes actual cost is 3pt.
It's not bad.

But you can change Vortex to other Anti-Reflection skill(Trap,Totem etc)for 3pt.
Vortex is just a tool for run Map quickly.

Always Reroll = -MaxResist , ElementalReflection
Reroll in hard Boss Map = AilmentImmune , DmgMod*3

This is my reroll rule now.

Normal Atziri is easy.
I've not tried T16 , Shaper and Uber.
I have no key.
I killed T15boss again and again,but still no T16drop.

SecondForm DPS is 216k now.(250k is possible with Lv21Gem and NonFreezeDurationJewels)
Negative Resistance will increase DPS 216k to 475k.
I think DPS is enough.

But this build is not Tanky.
I guess only skilled player can kill Shaper/Uber.
Maybe it's difficult for me.

+40% Spell damage is nice,but it has no resistance.
Maybe it's difficult keep +169%Elemental resistance with it.
(169%=109% in Merc=75% in ElementalWeakness Map)
Unique chest is luxury option.
Usually high ES+resistance rare recommanded.
If you have no resistance problem,Beast Fur Shawl is good chest.

Pros/Cons added.
