From what I've been testing, it actually does seem to be less FPS heavy, which might sound odd, but I'll have to check it more.

Also, on another note, I have my Champion LL variant of this build up and running, though still tweaking it out some, but thusfar it's working ok. Trash clearing seems to be fine, though I will need to test it on maps with more mob life, damage reduction, and the like to see. However, single target is definitely not in the same category as Berserker, but I might be able to eek out a little more damage once I hit 95 and maybe shuffle some points around.

That said...wow...build is a lot more tanky than I expected it to be, and can run 9 auras/heralds at the moment with what I've got, which isn't too shabby. :p

Thats good to know. Btw I posted a guide for LL Champion tank Mjolner like 2 days ago in Duelist forums. I put some effort and time in it so you make take a look. Maybe you'll find something intresting in terms of tree or gearing that might be usefull for your version aswell.

Ricko:

We've built very similar style, though I decided to go with CoH -> LL in my 6L and use Controlled Destruction instead of the LL gem in Mjolner. However, I might switch those around and try EW with CoH and see how that works out. I also use a Basalt Flask instead of the Granite, though I can certainly test it out, but I don't use the boots you have...don't have them. I'll have to see how different the damage is, and if it's worth the LL gem instead of CD, but otherwise, we've built almost the same. :)

Have you tried it? Is it less fps heavy?

It is most definitely less FPS heavy than the default incrimination, but more importantly, its much less visually obstructive to the player.

The original animation has a much more satisfying explosion effect, but it tends to somewhat block the view of what is going on near the player.

Death door boots are awesome. No more bleeding of any form (corrupting blood included). Bosses like T15 Rigwald are less of a problem with those boots. But also traps in end game lab.

I highly recomend them for Rainbownuke aswell. More than that as a Rainbkwnuke I allways dropped HoT as it gave me around 5% more overall dps and used AA instead.

Back to low life tank: I decided to go with ll gem in Mjolner and EW curse instead of CD/Lpen gem in Mjolner and WM curse, because its more leech this way and you can do hexproof maps and bosses.

This Build works great for me and its very much fun to play.
Would it be a good idea to try to get Righteous Fire in? Can get 90% Fire res with RotP.
I guess it's more Damage but costs some Survivability. Can't try it out myself because I'm poor like shit, but I would love to shine like a star.

Righteous Fire can't work in any build that uses Vaal Pact, as Vaal Pact means you have no regeneration. You could maybe try to get fancy with putting in a couple copies of vaal discipline and popping righeous fire while vaal discipline is up but I don't think it's necessary.

The DPS is already pretty much maxed out for a Mjolner build - there's a few other Mjolner builds that need to use RF just to match the DPS of this build without RF.
The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard
The 82nd character to hit Delve 1000 in Standard
Right, forgot that :D
Well, thanks anyway :>
50% or 100% Mjolner will be better for this build?

100% is better (and basically mandatory) for all mjolner builds at this point, including this one
The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard
The 82nd character to hit Delve 1000 in Standard
hello i've been following your build so far i've got 2 questions.

1: what do you skills do you recommend to level up with (to get enough stats for mjloner and repentance)

2: how does the life leach work do i have to have a lot of hp reserved before it applies to energy shield?

thanks!!
