PoE in 2016 and after

"
Why so much players still play PoE?
The game is the same since 2011. Why bother? Minor patches, mirrored leagues...

Please name one game with more content added to it since 2011, even payed ones.

Although, I would not mind more updates or a graphical improvement....

But, who wouldn't? However, to insinuate that development is lazy?

Curious NHK666, have you contributed anything towards GGG?

Or, are you just stomping your feet, and demanding more free game?

As if for naught...

You talk about faith like you giveth to the offertory.

Yet ye hath made no sacrifice!

Begone!

It's a free game , why would anyone contribute to play it ? I don't get it .

Old players may struggle to continue to play, but because its free keeping up with new contents refresh the game and attracks new players. Its all about gaining much players as possible that can spend for a new stash tab than keeping old players that dont spend anymore.

Im coming from 5 years of world of tanks, and its the same.

Take a look at this or almost any other thread on here. Note that some of the posters, clearly still playing, have lists of supporter titles longer than their posts - plenty going back to CB. Quite a lot have accounts active thhat long.
And reconsider what you just said.

I understand this is a role playing game, but I don't think the best role to play should be shopkeeper. - AlteraxPoe

Supporters are people that truly love the game and really want to become better, nothing to do with the majority of free users that come to try the game and spend a little without becoming big supporters. Supporters almost never abandoned the game because of the huge investment they have done, but they are not the majority of players.

This is a joke, right?

Like oooh I dunno LITERALLY EVERY OTHER ONLINE GAME?

Would you call prophecy "new" content? So a palette swap and a few new mods to hunt down is "new" to you?

Man, youre good GGG, youre good.
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌

Not excited of purple monsters ?
oh look guys, another one of these threads. oh..someone call the WAAAAAAMBULANCE. Op is dying...

I actually love the graphics of PoE. Oldschool, dark, gritty, and I like it. Most people who I show this game too comment on how much they like the art style.

Sure, PoE needs improvements, what fucking game doesnt?

and DLC for Fucking Fallotu 4 and Call Of Duty is money grabbing too.

EVERYTHIGN IS ABOUT MONEY. THIS IS A CAPITALISTIC WORLD.

But also,

If you're unhappy. Go elsewhere, PoE will continue on without you.
