Russia trying to start World War 3?

What are these idiots thinking? That's dangerous, reckless and just plain stupid! Not only that but they actually managed to violate a 1972 bilateral accord between Russia and the U.S. http://www.state.gov/t/isn/4791.htm Last edited by Darkfyre on Apr 14, 2016, 7:55:24 PM Last bumped on Apr 16, 2016, 2:47:00 PM

Putin is just trying to keep a hold on power within his own country while the economy collapses. If the people start to revolt that's when we should really be worried, no telling what he'll do then.

" Yeah, shame on Russia, they should do like the US instead and just look for excuses to bomb defenseless third world countries to justify their bloated 'defense' budget. When that doesn't work, they can still do like the US and instigate armed conflicts through proxies to further their political and economic interests. Not that I'm a big fan of Russia, hell no, but it really gets on my nerves when I see baseless self-righteousness. At least the Russians have the decency to not talk nonsense about freedom and democracy and they only bomb countries near their borders. The Wheel of Nerfs turns, and builds come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the build that gave it birth comes again. It´s showing off / a gesture of military strenght, hopefully they have taken some nice HD photographs on that ship :-).
"simulated attack" is an interpretation, that might serve U.S. propaganda. They would not have to come that close for an attack. Unnecessary, provocative ? Yes. " Last edited by Schmodderhengst on Apr 15, 2016, 9:50:42 AM

" What are you smoking? Russia invaded Ukraine, unprovoked to begin with! How is that the U.S.'s fault??? | |
" Are you really just going to completely gloss over the fact that this incident could have gone very badly and started a war due to these jackasses just wanting to show off? Would you still be so cavalier about their actions if it HAD started a war?? " Ya, except they signed an agreement not to do this and now they've broken that agreement!
