Why hasn't GGG banned this account yet?

" See I don't trust trade full stop, I want to be in control of whats going on and that's my choice. So I don't believe Perandus is the problem, the problem is to always have a positive experience from using trust trade. You don't know what you are getting back, it's pure trust. It's like playing the lottery. I feel like this should be obvious since you're using the net. The only occasion I would trust trade, is items I'm willing to loose or friends in real life. As to Banning OP, eh.. I can't say that's really GGG's business. But if I think about creating player experiences, I would hate to have a new player walk away with a bad one and then permeate that experience to others who have yet to try PoE. But then, isn't every game these days fill with these people. I expect the worst but hope for the best in online experiences, I thought this was normal by now as sad as that is. |

GGG should just perma ban this dude and set an example of they can randomly ban you if you fuck around too much.
The scariest shit in a shady cutthroat game like PoE is not knowing. Now if GGG sets an example by perma banning a few random scammers, they can actually set an example and sent a message of... "guys we don't like scammers and we might just ban you depending on what we had for lunch if you are caught scamming, the ban will be quick and permanent, and random. Not all scammers will be banned but if they do they are permanently banned." There... now GGG can effectively cut down a lot of scamming attempts and low life loser fucks, without having to hire more people for support. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change. Welcome to PoE. Last edited by Pewzor#2343 on Mar 19, 2016, 3:49:09 PM

@morbo
You example of PK'ing is crap, the bandit quest where most of the games PK's took place were intentionally put there for that reason, the game text reflects that and it even gives you a chance to avoid it if you are capable of reading Scamming is purely player generated and not intended as part of the game experience though it can happen there are tools to prevent it for the most part and when they are not it's down to the player's Also since OP really needs to be told " Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

The more I read the more I think the OP isn't the owner of the account he claims to be banned and instead just a salty victim trying to get that account banned by posting what is meant to be incriminating evidence while circumnavigating the name & shame rules.

" Ok, so if the trade window had a warning: "attention, all transactions are your own responsibility", scamming would be ok? I dont know how much PK is still happening, but a while back it was a thing - many angry players who put trust into felow exiles, just to be killed. It's a similar community eroding shit as trade scams. " So you can scam 'a little', but not 'too much', else you might get randomly banned? What kind of arbitrary justice is that? GGG needs to first put explicit rules into the ToS and THEN ban people for whatever. When night falls
