Sneaky Trade Scam Attempt
no he made a fair over and tried to buy it 1c less, it's all good I do that all the time and I try to sell my items as high as I can, and people always try to bargain.
If you get offended because someone made you a lower offer. Shame on you. |

" So you are saying you would go to poe.trade, copy the whisper message, replace the listed price with a lower price without removing the words "listed for", and send that message to the seller? Save a Carrot, Eat a Rabbit!

" yes the item is listed at 6C I make a 3 or 4 C offer and the guy accept at 5C. All bargain no it's not scamming. and when I have to sell I put my price higher than it would be sell and try to sell it the highest I can, most people will make me lower offer and bargain their way. Shame on you if you don't bargain and buy it the price I've listed it. This is not scamming, it's what's commerce is all about, making deals Last edited by diablofdb#3816 on Jan 24, 2016, 2:11:16 PM

Ok, I've done my best, but you're still missing the point. I'll go chat with a brick wall instead, it'll be more productive.
Cheers! Save a Carrot, Eat a Rabbit!

" no I understand your point, but I think you are wrong. let me give you an exemple: You list an item at 5 ex I make you an offer of 3 ex You go look back at your price and say it was listed at 5 I still offer 3 You accept for 4 deal if you don't look back at your own price, it's your problem. If you don't bargain or are bad at it. Againt it's your problem. Not a scam, just a fair bargain. there is a point where you made the sale, it's your item. Just be responsible enough to check your own prices. This is no scam, it's just you not being careful. Last edited by diablofdb#3816 on Jan 24, 2016, 2:26:15 PM

Just wanted to say that you are wasting your time, Lazarus :P
" Funny enough, video game is a real world situation. And by that i mean that there are absolutely no reasons not to apply civil/private law to video game transaction. Usually market (and i mean real market and real money) value of those items is just too low to justify all the effort with going to court etc., but if u look at poe items prices on sites like mulefactory, i wonder why people actually dont do that. Anyway, im convinced that in pretty much every continental Europe legal systems the situation described in the OP would be considered a fraud. Dont know how about commonlaw systems. edit: typos Last edited by Zenhayaraxermaar#7506 on Jan 24, 2016, 2:31:44 PM

" That's why I never buy an item the full price I always try to get a cheap deal, you don't want to sell it.... Fine there are 55 other similar listed. |

" Yeah, that's internet fora for you ^^ I still like to try from time to time, though. ̶I̶t̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶h̶u̶r̶t̶, and once in a million years it actually might help :D Edit: strike that, it can actually hurt my faith in the human race. " It's one thing to make an offer (hey, I'd love to buy XYZ for 3ex), but it's entirely another thing to lie (hey, I'd love to buy XYZ listed for 3ex, when it is actually listed for 4ex). The fact that you don't understand the difference is sad. |
