fresh install stuck at "Checking resources..."

Hi guys,

I had the same problem today.

Tried compatibility modes, run as admin, deleting content.gppk file, and spamming restarts without any luck.

I went back to the original download file that was still in my browser PathOfExileInstaller.exe
https://www.pathofexile.com/downloads/PathOfExileInstaller.exe

Ran that and clicked on 'Repair' installation, then started the PathofExile.exe and within 30 secs started allocating space and downloading files.

Hope this saves someone else some time in the future.

i have same Pro, tried to new Install the Game.checking resour.....nothing helps me
all was here posted to fix this Prob helps nothing ;((

any other Options ??

Bump. Reinstalled PoE as I was getting the "Disconnected before patching..." issue, copied a fresh ggpk file from a friend, now I'm getting the checking resources issue. 7 days has passed since my first support email. Sigh.

Same Problem here. Decided to install normal POE outside of Steam and can't install. It's stuck on allocating resources. Nothing fixes this. I dono, I guess GGG doesn't want us back lol... Oh well back to D2...
