Introduce yourself thread :)

Can't believe I missed this one.

Ondor of SUN here. The name's no more than a brainfart, but the guild has a long history.

My best "skill" is 3D, and I'm currently in the process of making a feature length movie. Don't expect any info on that for at least a year though (Yup, it's a solo project, until I require voice acting), as I only just started on the script 3 days ago, and I recently made the switch from 3D studio MAX to Softimage, so there's quite a bit to learn there with the ICE engine and- I went off track...

My only practical skill is electronics (in general). I love taking things apart to find out what makes them tick.

I first got into online gaming in Star wars: Galaxies, and I've played pretty much every failure and success since then. Mostly the failures. (Vanguard, need I say more?)

Other than that, I had to break my Diablo 2 discs back in the day to kick my addiction to it. But hey, those were the teen years. I'm fairly certain I can manage my playtime in PoE! (Proof: I'm not addicted to the beta timer!)

So...yeah. That's the short version.

And the signature is just a long-winded motto.
Strength - The ability to endure and overcome all hardships in life.

Courage - The ability to look at your past with no regrets, and your future with no fear or doubt.

Pride - The ability to accept yourself.

What's your SUN history? I know of a SUN clan that started up ages ago.

Hi,

My name is Dankbeer and I joined the forums a few days ago, though I have known about this game for a few months.

My gaming experience goes way back to the days of Doom and Warcraft. Lately, I have been into Starcraft II (mainly because I loved SC / BW) and Diablo 2. Of course hack and slash action rpgs have been one of my favorite genres to play.

Though lately I have been greatly anticipating the release of the next great arpg. I think this game might be it from everything I have seen so far. Skill gems and the passive system look really interesting (Big FF7 and FF10 fan). And the random gear drops seem to be a good idea to force unique gear. Anyways, just saying Hi.

Edit: I added spacing to break up the wall of text.

Dankbeer,
Cheers!
Tomorrow comes today.

28 years old gamer here.
From the GF's name Victoria and mine - Simon and replacing "cs" with "x" to look more oldschool and roman.
(Remember Proximo from "Gladiator")
Hey everyone, I am 20 years old and studying Physics at RHUL in London, England.

I have played videogames for as long as I can remember, loving everything from old school h&s games like nox and diablo 1/2 to modern games like starcraft 2. I played the MMO Anarchy Online for a long time, even had my own city by the time I quit! In past years I have been playing mainly DotA - an extremely popular custom map for warcraft 3 TFT.

This game looks amazing and although I haven't had the chance to play it yet I cannot wait.... screw diablo 3 this looks awesome.
Hi, my name is deadwalker ..and I escaped from grave 300 years ago :) And now...I am starting to KILL!!!! :D

Hi,

My name is Ole-Martin. I'm from Bergen, Norway. I'm addicted to video games.
i am a mexican house cleaner
I'll bite on this I suppose.

My name is Christopher Loyd IRL (funny eh?). Most people call me Doc Brown. I'm 24 years old and currently reside in the beautiful Nashville, TN. I have a loving girlfriend and a daughter (Isabelle Rose) that turned one on Dec. 7th! Got another little one in the oven waiting to become my next little gamer.

I've been playing games for as long as I can remember, started out with the NES and once I hit computer gaming I played a good deal of text-based MUDs. I'm more of a casual player now, and enjoy the social and story aspects of games more than the competition of my earlier youth gaming.

I spent 6 years in the Army Reserves, where I was a Combat Medic and then later a Radar Technician. Spent 13 months in Iraq back in 09-10. Rather fun times.

I work as a Medical Interface Integrations Developer for a semi-large Immunochemistry and Forensic Toxiocology Laboratory. I absolutely love my place of work and couldn't ask for a better, or more challenging career.

Path of Exile is slowly becoming my life, half because of it being such a great game and the other half because of the wonderful community that surrounds it.
