The Darkshrine Events Have Begun!

Well... I'm conscripted in Korean AirForce so no PoE for me, but I dreamed of Kaom vigorously chasing me with the new talisman and haunted spectre buffing him.

Demonic reave showdown in the demon soiled graveyard working my way to the second dark shrine! MUST... HAVE... SHRIIIIIIINE!

Just had a funny moment! I had been alching and scouring jewels (using the all rewards have their costs Darkshrine effect), looking for Damage over Time jewels. This is because I wanted to sacrifice them to spawn Perandus Bank, as I really wanted to get a Ventor's Gamble. Unfortunately, over the entire 5 weeks I had only spawned one Perandus Bank, which dropped THREE Energised Armour jewels. Trolled to the max.
However, I was just doing my final bit of farming in Dried Lake before the league ends, and I found a Darkshrine. I sacrificed a spell-damage dagger, and low and behold! "The treasures of the wealthy await you". A Perandus Bank had spawned in the area. I found it after a bit of searching, and opened it.
Unfortunately for me, the drops were dissappoing. However, as you can see in the screenshot below, the exiles did something pretty funny upon death:

In case the screenshot does not work, two of the same exile are lying on the ground in the exact same position, and so are their identical pets XD.

Another funny moment I had in Darkshrine happened on the very first day. I sacrificed a wand with spell damage into the Darkshrine that I found in the Normal difficulty Ship Graveyard Cave, and got "Locations far and wide await you". My suspicions were wonderfully confirmed when, upon doubling back, I found a rare cartographer's strongbox! I was super excited, hoping that it would drop maps, and I would be the first person in the league to own a map (this happened about 1 hour into the league).

Unfortunately, it didn't quite work out like that: the strongbox dropped nothing but the divination card "The Cartographer". Still pretty cool! Cartographers in a level 12 area FTW?

I've never done any maps before, and my very first map in PoE is Acton's Nightmare.

I was running Perfection shrine in a level 7 map (The Climb). I used a rare wand with % spell damage and crit multi affixes and the magic happened. Acton's Nightmare was spawn and I got so happy!

I was so excited and did a lot of research on this map. Finally, I bought Devouring Totem and Detonate Dead and went in, it was a very fun experience; the unique background music of Acton's Nightmare is authentically beautiful!
