There are a few questionable points due to the changes, such as sniper/nullification and the attack speed ranger start which had its 2nd point buffed, so going through the dex nodes might not be as good. I haven't done any math so its up to you to see what's best now, most of the other points are the same.

As for the new chaos dmg nodes unfortunately I didn't find any of them worth it apart from method to the madness, but I'm not sure about it mathematically either.

The real difference will be with new leech nodes, that apply for ANY attack damage (including chaos). I wonder, why you missed that simple fact?
Now, you dont need to waste a gem slot for Blood Magic or waste several jewel sockets for mana/hit. Just learn Essense Sap or Spirit Void. You can even get Vitality Void and get 2% life leech even without Hungry Abyss jewel. Hell, you can even do it with Windripper now, skyrocketing your DPS while retaining ability to leech life and mana. MAybe not the best thing for HC, though, but for SC it should be amazing.

You tree also seems in need of some optimization tweaks.

I just copied the tree over from live version but its true i didnt notice the leech nodes until later since i don't really like leech in the first place. Also unfortunate that blood dance was nerfed since i liked using it for this also.

I am thinking about playing without the blood magic gem and Mana Attack Damage Leech notes, too. What do you think about to play with the new Poison support gem in your 6L and skilling the new Fatal Toxins skillpoint.
The basic Poison damage is 10% of your Chaos/physical dmg dealt per second over 2 seconds.
With the gem and the notes in the tree it will almost triple the poison dmg. So it will be about 30% of your Chaos Dmg per second! You poison with every hit and the poison dmg stacks!

Am i missing something or could this be a huge buff for this build, atleast for bossfights?

It's quite obvious you should use poison for Voltaxic is 2.1. Otherwise, it makes little sense to use Voltaxis over Windripper (will that new leech nodes).
Poisoning with Snakebite also seems quite obvious cause it saves you one gem link. It also seem one should get Chaos Damage nodes/gems, as they buff both attack damage and poison damage derived from it (double-dips).
I also wonder about Void Manipulation gem mechanics with conversion. Will it increased you chaos damage and then reduce it because it was converted for lightning? If not, it will be a must-have there...
