Is Slam affected by AOE passives?
I've heard gems do but what about passives, also about the powercharge passive which states "per charge for SPELLS".
Yes, and yes. That passive is mislabeled, and should be fixed in 0.9.5, it applies to all skills

Thanks Mark, I thought it might be a typo but didn't have enough balls to click it just yet.

How is Ground slam working with Life leech?
Will i get life for every mob it hits? Will it leech any life at all or only single targets can leech?

How is it calculated??
Thanks
I've found that Ground Slam will often miss, usually after the target has moved close enough to melee attack my character.

Is this done on purpose to force the character to maintain distance from mobs or is this unintended?
did ground slam always have 12% less damage?
I would like to report that from time to time, when fighting certain enemies in close combat, they stand so close to my character that they become imune to ground slam.

There seems to be this blind spot between my character and the ground slam. Where enemies just sit and hack me and then my tank character is FORCED TO KITE, just to adjust the distance so that ground slam finally connects.

I noticed it happening against some bucanneers, spiders, monkeys sometimes and other monsters. It seems to be random, maybe an move/attack animation glitch.

Some of the enemies stand so close, in fact, that their animation of attacking my character is not even shown properly and its like there is no reasonable distance for them to actually hit or cause damage.

Also, the Area of Effect passives/support gem on ground slam dont seem to affect the thin part of the cone shaped area.

So it makes it so it increases range, but the area close to the character itself, remains unchanged.

I would like to see both fixed, so the ground slam do not miss targets in front of the character and that with more area of effect skills/passives, the area closer to the character extends as well as the maximum range.

A proper area of effect increase, not just distance.

I just made this badly painted drawing in hopes to better communicate the problem/issue/concern.

I'd like to echo the observations of Interesting and Invisigoth, after playing a Templar and using Ground Slam from level 1 to 60, there were many instances where the skill would not hit monsters. It usually happened when the monsters were right next to me (the situation in Interesting's drawing).

Another example I saw was that sometimes the skill's visual particles would appear to hit a monster, but the hit didn't register. This usually happened when I used the skill on monsters when they were outside max range, and they would walk in range as the character was in his casting animation. I'm not sure if this is because of online latency or if it's a bug, but it's something you can look into.

One last thing, it appears that Ground Slam is affected by accuracy. When I was around level 30, my chance to hit was around 67-68% (didn't take any dex or accuracy nodes) and Ground Slam would indeed miss monsters about 3 out of 10 times, ex. I hit 6 monsters with the skill, two of them would usually not be affected. After I got Resolute Technique, I found that I would hit every time. Is GS being affected by accuracy intended or not? Thanks~
It's a weapon attack, why wouldn't it be affected by Accuracy?

To me Ground Slam feels more like a spell (an AOE spell at that) because you don't directly attack the monsters with your weapon while using this skill. Just was curious and asked.
