Is nugi still using Lioneye's glare?
I just dropped it yesterday, but my dps is a bit lower than with my regular elemental ticket. So, is it worth losing some dps to be able to respect out of resolute technique (does it save only 2 points?) or do you think I should just keep my ticket? " Dropping RT gives you your crits back so yes. If you have Lioneye's then the crits will make up for the DPS loss. |

Oh god, I had completely omitted the fact that in addition to making hits never miss, there was the huge drawback of not being able to crit.
So yeah, I see the benefits in using it now... I'm still a bit undecided bewteen keeping it (and having the bow slowly lose his value), or selling it now for a looot of exas ^^. Thanks ;) Track your map runs: http://pathofmaps.com (retired) Retired item indexer: https://github.com/niuage/poexplorer Last edited by niuage#2922 on Feb 27, 2013, 5:19:54 PM

You guys recommend getting Iron Reflexes right away or going for duelist life and Diamond Skin first? I'm HC so I'm leaning toward the life and resist nodes first.

the evasion and armour equip at lower levels easily adds up to more total armour with iron reflexes than straight armour items. if you go for iron reflexes straight away you can easily get 80-90% phys reduction to carry you to the life nodes.
then jsut stack life on rings and ammy till you start to come across more elemental damage, again thats after you can get the life nodes. |

Hi. I have a question. Should I take Iron Grip when I completed all strenght nodes on passive tree ?
|

that would depend, soft core or HC?
in soft I'd say take it and pick up all superior bows, re-roll for physical damage, you can go lightning arrow over poison arrow faster this way, if in HC, I would imagine focusing on getting to the Templar area faster would be the safer bet. I have Iron grip and just getting 3rd weapon elemental damage node now, I use wrath anger and grace, blood magic (keystone) and find LA does enough damage on packs of 3 or more to warrant use of LA over poison arrow, PA is now a single target attack I use just for regen mobs, otherwise frenzy and beartrap for single targets, with Skeleton Totem out to keep things off of me. works great for SC, but I would want more life and life regen in HC |

I'm playing on softcore. I have 47 level
This is my passive tree

So, where i should rush now ? For static blow and some hp ? On what lvl can I take node for elemental damage near the Iron Reflexes and Catalyse? |

To the veteran rangers out there:
I would like some clarification on how the mechanics of using a high phy dmg bow and then using elemental conversion equips/gems/skills to attain end game dps Eg. if you use blackgleam quiver 50% conversion of ur physical to fire, does that mean that ur bow will only do half of your physical dmg now, with another half with fire dmg? does this works similarly with hatred aura, added fire dmg gem etc, and how does it works when u use both hatred aura together with blackgleam etc, will you be left with very low physical dmg? in that case how does a high physical bow with conversion outdps a triple ele bow with high rolls? assuming with gd gears to support it, thanks! - quoted by petrov in his elemental ranger thread Ign: Grapesjuice/StronkGrapes
