What is next? Pay to win? An auction house?

I find it interesting that you consider me "lazy". I have literally spent thousands of hours in order to craft top tier items. You have not even reached level 90 on a single character.

I have 88. That my highest. My life isn't poe. Which seem to me poe is your life. as much as i love the game i don't have time for it. I'm sure you have.. you spent most of your time playing poe. Nothing is wrong doing that. I understand you spent thousand of hours doing it.. but don't you think others players has to? News flash buddy world doesn't revolve around you. I'm sure others are hurt by it to.. others will love it. Personally i love it... i'm sure people like myself that are poor are also. Its a win for the losers.. and a beat down on the rich. Gotta love GGG for doing that. Share the wealth buddy!

So let see i have to have a character that is level 90+ to be compared to you? or other players? lol.. i admit i may not have great items as you or maybe the skills but i can careless.. you know why? I play for fun. Other players that accept this change want to have fun also

I apologize if you take what i said so seriously I assume and have my opinion so for you to take it to heart its pretty hilarious. Sorry if i hurt your feelings.

You as a player, I understand you put alot of money into this game so i could understand the frustration of seeing better items obtainable. But why would it be so hard for you since you have the resources to gain those items?

I want to ask you.. what the purpose of you playing poe if you have everything is great? What next for you? How about this an idea.. how about the little guys playing the game? Other people.

For you to post something like " will go pay to win to turn auction house? To get mad at GGG evolution is pretty sad. I mean what were you expecting? the game to stay the way it is now.. your items remains op for 10 years longer? That not how video games last...

You seem to forget the reason why you are rich. Its because of the players base.. so if nothing changes.. people get bored? Go to a new game... How will you get what you want? If the player base are gone,

For you to not understand the evolution of poe is shocking.

I totally understand the problem. I played DAoC as a top-line crafter. The expansion, ToA, made all that effort to be top-rate, second rate. I quit and never went back to that play style. I don't adopt that play style in new games because of that experience.

People have learned the same lesson here. They "invest" in something that can be taken away with an arbitrary choice out of their control. When that investment of time and troubles loses value... they're upset. I total understand. But you put yourself there. You made the choice to make that investment.

Learn an important lesson from this... where it didn't cost you real money.
you cannot really compare DAOC and PoE craft...
I had 4 legendary crafter in DAOC with limited effort when I will never be one in PoE... The required investement is completely different. By the way, TOA was a good opportunity for crafter in DAOC since you had to redo all your SC, I didnt complain about it at all.

A so fucking great game...

But I keep hearing that mirrored gear (unattainable by most) is not even needed to do current content and is for lack of a better word overkill. Why not rework crafting so it is able to be self crafted by the average person, but instead created new top tiers which again most people cannot achieve. This change literally changes nothing, except devaluing crafting. I do empathise with those currently crafting in the heavily RNG-gated process, and I'm glad I never really took part in it seriously or I'd be pissed.

It will do nothing to the present mirror gear (it'll keep facerolling), but it will be a buff to findable gear (if you read the state of the beta, mods will be adjusted, in range and maybe in drop rate). It will be necessary in temporal leagues IMO.

Also, crafting ended in the hands of few because of the MoK + Et combo. If you don't break that, it will be the same forever.

I personally despise the idea of creating perfect items in a loot game.

Yeah man, totally agree with you. HacknSlash game. I always thought that item should be acquire by grinding, looting aka playing the game rather then sitting in town and flipping stuff to actually roll an item. I mean, People willing to play a craft, economy game should just play sword and potions or something of the sort.

Vaal Orbs are a perfect example. You need to make a skill gem 20/20 before vaaling it. Thus the effort of leveling it (twice) is not lost.

Is that supposed to be a joke? More times than not a Vaal Orb will completely waste my effort in leveling a gem to 20 twice! Have you really never had a gem turn into a vaal gem or lose quality upon corrupting? To say that your effort is not lost is wishful thinking.

Yeah but at the same time if you are trying to go for a particular corruption on a gem them you will most likely lvl a bunch of the same gems at once to get more chances at hitting a good vaal of some sort! Since the chances of failing are great because the only good result is +1lvl or +3Q everything else is nothing happens or it screws the gem up in some way!

Corrupting one gem at a time would not be a very good way to go about it anyway if you are really looking for results! In my Exp most gems do nothing ive had very few completely brick on me!
And ive got lucky and had a couple hit 21! Now that is rewarding! But i damn sure put alot of effort into all the ones ive had hit 21 for sure!

Ive yet to have ANY of my gems turn into Vaal gems!
Isnt that basically the only way to get a 20/20 vaal gem? I would actually like that corruption myself on certain ones especially!
There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.

We got some numbers. 2.44% more damage. wowitsfuckingnothing.jpg
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
