I don't have any fun with Skyrim though, that game is just bad.

Yeah. "Bad". Oh man.

Well saying it's bad is maybe harsh but it is kinda dull compared to say Morrowind. It's a walking simulator and a quest marker simulator basically...
The dungeons are all extremely similar in design in Skyrim as well, there's maybe a handful that are uniquely designed. The diversity is significantly lower than the dungeons in Oblivion that are supposedly designed entirely by 1 person, especially the Shivering Isles dungeons.

Shivering Isles is probably the best Elder Scrolls experience I've had.

An after-view report on watching FO4 gameplay at Gamescon:

Sounds like Bethesda has improved the capability of larger set-piece battles, though the "no load screen when entering a building" rumor we've been hearing may not be entirely accurate. =0[.]o=

I agree. In this case though, you pretty much know what you're getting, no?

There's virtually no loading screens on PC already :D Ask Any Fallout 3 or New Vegas player and they'll agree that it's very difficult to read anything during them because of how fast they are.

I do get what you mean though, that indoor environments wouldn't be segregated from outdoor environments but I just can't see that happening yet (Maybe in 4~ years we will). World design becomes a lot harder when you have to start making building exteriors realistically large to properly accommodate the desired interior layout.

FO4 DLC and "season pass" info:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPQlm8It8Ao

I find it interesting that the video poster appears to have forgotten the main reason Skyrim's DLC releases were cut short: The problems porting them to consoles. SO much grief when they somehow couldn't get the DLC to work right, and when they finally did, Beth was no longer interested in making anymore.

Now, it seems that Bethesda may have taken steps to avoid these issues. I certainly hope so!

Still, might wait for the GOTY edition, rather than get the "season pass." That'll allow plenty of time for most bugs to have been hammered out in both the main game and the DLCs, and there should be a plethora of great FO4 mods available by then, as well. =^[.]^=

I'm hoping we'll see the other Specials done up this way! =^[.]^=

Very clever. I remember when FO3 was on the horizon they had printed a vault dwellers survival guide full of cheeky stuff like that, was great

They can still chant "We're #1!" about it, if they like. =^[.]^=
