Drops dont really matter to me as I play arbitrage but still... several 90s toons and nothing drop i can use. No T1 drops. anyways sup with dat?

maybe you are one of those players with 1 million dps and 0 mf. i wouldn't be surprised nor do i recognize this problem. i keep finding lots of good stuff all the time. how do you like them apples?

it's interesting that we have such a different experience in this game. don't you agree?

I've made it a point to have some MF on pretty much every softcore player I play as and I'm in the same exact boat as OP, I've played the game for well over 2 years and probably have never found what many people consider to be T2 drops even.

The problem is its an ARPG game and players don't have the ability to find loot because of some RNG number the screws them over. By now I should have found something, instead my wealth is gained thru a 1 time thing that I cannot hope to reproduce, so I'm stuck grinding up slowly, never finding that sick drop, which sucks.

Remove MF from POE, make juiced map the new MF.
I completely agree. I enjoyed playing this game until i realized how much of a nightmare basic trading was. I am used to a world of warcraft auction house system where you can post up your items for a fee and everyone can look at them without you having to waste time trying to post it on a third party website or even search it out of game... its sad really.

When I am looking for gear that would be considered average, people dont even want to waste their time to post those kind of equipment because it is too inconvenient to make small currency for multiple items when you have to micromanage all of it (individually work with everyone you want to trade with / must be online to make the trade)

I really hope that this game can update to having an auction house because that is the only thing that makes me not want to play this game.
I keep hearing this from my guildmembers as well and it troubles me that there is such a high contrast between different peoples RNG.

However I do think the contrast is so high due to playtime, most of the time anyway. I play allot(last 2 months really allot as I was sick at home) which means you get more drops as well. At some point the RNG has to come your way and drop something good for you.

But all in all I have fun at the game which keeps me playing as well. I like mapping on different toons atm in standard and grinding some levels into the mid 90s. Doing high level maps usually reward better drops imo then dom runs. Most good drops I got were from high level maps and not from doing dom with a culler.

The thing about asymptotic curves is that as long as they're asymptotic they tend to have asymptotes.

In other words, if you play any lootfinding game long enough, you will inevitably reach a state wherein nothing good drops for long periods of time. You can adjust where in progression this effect occurs, or you can design the game to end before the effect kicks in, but you can't have infinite farming without farming eventually being very time-inefficient.

Hey Scrotie!

Do you by the way have beta access? I seemed to recall some comment where you hinted at only hearing what was happening in beta.

To my knowledge he wouldn't be able to post here if he didn't have access! The Beta Forums wasn't even visible before i got access! If i remember correctly! But i could be wrong!
Ive had access since the second the packs went live that night at like 2 in the morning! LOL
There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.

hopefully divination cards will at least give me a way to earn or build up to something valuable somewhat eliminating the RNG factor from it.

Currency divination cards = inflation.

Everyone will get more currency, the value of said currency will go down.

Everyone's net profit from currency divination cards will be 0 ; only ones who will lose will be people with LOTS of currency ; only ones who will "win" will be people with no currency.

The price of stuff will go up to accommodate the influx of free currency, at the same time, everyone's tiny inventory will become even more clogged with garbage since , divination cards along skill gems and currency apparently occupy the same space as six Tower Shields yet don't deserve a separate inventory.

This is what happens when a game does not have open beta.
Arbitrary placeholder decisions should never be embraced as final.
