dunno if it will be better than PoE but it has 3 things that are better than PoE imho: the feeling of epicness, more action-like combat and of course the graphics are better, too.

From the trailer it doesn't seem like it's trying to go for the ARPG audience. Despite the A in the name, the most attractive aspects of the genre seem to be itemization and character building, which the trailer barely mentions. At most it will drag bored MMORPG players from PoE, not the core ARPG audience.
And I'm not at all convinced by it. On trailers everything is beautiful, but the battle footage has clearly been rigged for the cinematic feel, and my heart's been broken far too many times by hooks that arbitrarily don't latch on some very special walls to get excited over the background interaction mechanics. But the mouse casting looks neat. Controlling the orientation of things like fire/ice walls is a pain in the *** in many games. Also, I don't want to sound like a conpirancy theorist, but the name of the main villain is going to be Panthaloss. That's spelled almost like pantaloons, doesn't it? But pantaloons are trousers, and trousers are... PANTS! Just saying, just saying. | |

Well NC soft can make a good game they proved that. But they also proved that they can take said game and shit on it (fan service and the likes) so it can go both ways and it can change soo its really up to them if they make it or break it. I hope they make it i like to have more good games around rather than just a few.

i didn't manage to finish Guild Wars 2 so i can't really say that NC soft made a good job i was expecting a bit more from random events (they ended like rift a bit)
about Lineage Eternal i don't know it looks like really good gameplay but Diablo 3 had that to so itemization and skill tree is what's gonna sell it for me graphics look like Titan Quest , nothing really amazing top kek Last edited by Dimitrii_ss2 on Feb 23, 2013, 11:03:53 AM
