I really like your filter. I was writing something similar, but yours is so much more advanced. Might be my favorite so far. Only thing I don't like is using borders for non-map items. I'd use background colors instead, but that's just me.

I didn't want to use those initially either. I like keeping borders map exclusive. However, after some consideration, I decided it'd be easier to mark a few very worthwhile items this way, rather than adding more background variations or text colors.

getting an error on line 187, something wrong with Jewels
fixed by Malachai from GGG

Implemented the change. I wans't sure if it's "Jewel" or "Jewels" before and the online simulator, didn't mind either.

Since I didn't get into beta so far, can anyone who's in, give me some feedback on how well the setup is working?

Especially post level 65 if anyone will get there

I believe in all cases, you want the singular version. It searches for whatever string you use. So if a Crimson Jewel drops, "Jewel" is found, where "Jewels" is not. Same for amulets.

Gold Amulet

There is no "S"

It actually depends on the "base type". Most base types are plural ("bows", "daggers", "rings").

And the rest is actually confirmed by the devs. However, when the announcement was done, there was no information about jewels, so I didn't know which basetype is correct.

Ah, I had a read through this thread on reddit, and in this case you're right. It would be handy to have a verified list of classes.

With mine, I played it safe and used class_singular.

Edit: didnt see that there is actually a verified list of classes.

Bumping thread and posting here for easy searching. Seems like the most complex and useful loot filter right now.
