Still the Question, where i need to copy pasta the file, i tryd in poe beta folder, but dont have ingame in the Option menu a choice about loot filter...

Holy shit dude, I was content enough with a basic filter I made myself, but you put a shit-ton of thought into this. I didn't actually think I would need to steal anyone else's scripts, but this is too good to pass up.

Oh, one more thing, can anyone test if transparency for backgrounds is working?

If yes, which one of the 2 would create a half transparent white background:

setbackground 125 255 255 255
setbackground 255 255 255 125

So, change it.

If you're not familiar with how the colors work, it's fairly simple.


(red) (Green (Blue)
XXX XXX XXX

The values range from 0 (none) to 255 (all). So if you want full red:

(red) (Green (Blue)
255 0 0

Or, perhaps a purple:

(red) (Green (Blue)
192 0 192

And, of course, white:

(red) (Green (Blue)
255 255 255

I wasn't really liking the colors, they were too imersive breaking. So I took the liberty and did some edits:

You might want to add this to the OP:

Some instructions for use. Note: this will not work until you are in the closed beta!!!

Copy the script into a .txt file.

Save.

Rename file to whatever.filter (.filter must be in all lowercase! if you cannot change the filetype, go to control panel/folder options/view/uncheck "hide known extensions")

Place this file in C:/users/documents/my games/path of exile beta folder (this may vary. it's the folder POE creates in your "my documents" folder, same place you would go to alter your texture quality. Toss it in the root)

When this is done, the option to use the filter will show up in your UI settings, at the bottom. select the filter you want to use, then hit "reload filters"
