Does Self Found hit a wall against some map bosses?

Brutus/Kole seriously love totems. You can drop a totem at the edge of their vision and they will hook it in and focus on it indefinitely.

I bring in my culler and solo this guy even though I have no DPS. I just use a flame totem linked to knockback. (Works better with 2 totems. You can trap him in between them).

Just drop the totems, stand back, and wait for the loot explosion.
