So do uniques drop...everywhere? Regardless of item? I'm not sure how this works.

" Hmm, there must be a set range on uniques ( say 10%-30% spell damage on the mask for example ).. much like D2 had on theirs. Standard: Shiverlyss, Lythyssa, Solaris, Goldorak, Clash, Cleavage, Sunflow.

" That just means your +AoE/Cast speed sucks and that your builds reach a point where your kill speed is too high for additional force multipliers that take up an action to matter. Critical Weakness + Elemental Weakness combo can double to triple your crit damage. Ability to use both a kiting (temp chains) and a killing curse against double speed mobs is of similiar dramatic utility. Curse stacking can be a dramatic kill speed boost if your build can take advantage of it proper. Perhaps it's an under geared Witch thing, where +AoE and Cast Speed are easy enough to access - when you can cover almost an entire screen worth of enemies in a single curse cast, not to cast a curse is beyond stupid unless you already 1-2 shot everything.
