Is it a bannable way to farm for vaal fragments?

Hey, well, of ourse it's not a reason to ban anyone for farming anything directly, but I have two issues that concern me.

a) Is it a cause of ban if I rapidly reset areas? Or a specific zone, Docks, in particular.

b) Is it a cause of ban to watch the framerates (f1) and shoot for a zone that has generated a corrupted area?


I think the second one should not be a reason, because it's not done by using a 3rd party program, or hacking the game, It's just reading the values the game already presents us.

The first one, however... Is it possible for the game to mistake me for a bot, etc for rapidly ctrl+clicking and resetting the zone?

I mean, I'm like:


"Enter - nah - reset - nah - reset - nah - reset - nah - reset - nah - reset - nah - reset - there we go."

Each reset is like one or two seconds after I enter the zone, so... That got me thinking.

don't expect any official reply.
It is not something that is against tos - you are just reseting instance. And whatever you use certain game behaviour to benefit yourself - there is no way of them to know that.

But it is something that puts stress on server so certainly not something they wanna people doing.
IF things turn to go out of hand you can expect them limiting amount new instances you can create in short amount time.

You wont get any ban. Just don't use programs.

why i´m at the same risk by pressing control and ppl which run 3rd party programms?

Simply say, you cannot play smart in POE by taking advantage of the flaws be it minor or not. It simply put you in the same category as a cheater.

I really don't like what this post encompasses.

We're getting confirmation of whether this is bannable or not months after it has been discovered and it had to take some random dude out of thousands to decide to post this thread before we were alerted?

Why wasn't this posted in the patch note thread and why isn't there an official reply that answers player questions when it comes to the recently discovered cheating methods?
