Scolds Bridle + Cloak Of Flames + 2x Mokou Embrace + Incinerate = perma 40% cast speed?

If the self dmg from scolds works on VMS, then will vengence/reckoning/ripostele? (ok maybe not the last one)

Vengeance, yes (though the skill has a 1.2s cooldown).
Reckoning/Riposte, no, since they require block and I don't think the player blocks himself.
To add more fuel to the discussion:

I remember seeing a perma-Vaal Molten Shell build a while back that manages to clear maps with zero downtime. This was achieved by increased duration nodes and gem, plus casting temporal chains on yourself through the unique shackles gloves.

It might be fun to try that along side something like Cyclone, since you can move while channeling that skill.

Thats why most cycone builds use it with increased duration + iron will anyways. (My mara has 500 Strenght, means IW give 100% inc Spelldmg, also running 1 duration cluster near templar for nearly 22 sec uptime).

Its fun to watch fast hitting bosses OS themselfes.

So theorycrafting here:

Passive tree:
Move speed and fire/elemental damage, maybe grab the easily accessible 40% aoe from Templar and Witch. Armor too, since (I think) the reflected damage can be mitigated by armor. Make sure you get both inc duration clusters.

Use cyclone as the channel skill:
Cyclone - curse on hit - flammability - elemental weakness

Arctic armor, if necessary, to ensure the reflected damage is negligible. Probably doesn't need anything higher than level 5.

Vaal molten shell, fire penetration, increased duration, gravy links.

Scolds Bridle of course to trigger VMS.

Then maybe use those Rampage gloves that add vaal souls on rampage? Does it work on every rampage level, or only when you enter rampage? Either way rampage seems to mesh with the strategy of clearing a map off chained Vaal Molten Shell castings.

Cyclone isn't a "channel".

Scold's requires mana being spent.
With cyclone, you pay once then move to a certain spot.

Unless you're clicking like mad and trying to cyclone minimum distances over and over again, that's not a great fit. For what you're trying to do, Leap/Sweep (+coh +dual curse) is likely better, and Ice Nova (+coh +dual curse) and EE is better even than that.
Sirloin, plz tell us how good ur build is.
Since u cant use Vaal pact with Rf, hows the survivability?

I've been running this build for a while, but I go for perma IC and reduced cost instead of AA to reduce the damage.
why not add RF to it ;o
