Economy still sucks as hell in this game

Thank you.
But I must say I don't agre with you too much.

The detour on top towards Deep Wisdom does nothing for you and waste 11 SP

I had to use them because of requirement of my gear. When I was making the build I had a communicate how much inteligence and dexterity i need to use it. It was a new rebuid after a patch from a year ago. So I had to use them to use my gear.

Considering the strenght nodes - don't they add to my damage? I think they do. And they were on the route to the damage clusters.

So I think maybe some points are wasted but not as much as you say.

Look at my elemental resistances I have high in fire and electricity (about 50%). So is it not enough? I'm dying on 10 levels lower maps and I die instantly. Mobs spawn and after three scconds I'm dead.
Then in other places I kill them with one strike.
This difference means to me that's something wrong with the BALANCE of the game even if my setup is not ideal.

Even so. I wouldn't complain so much if not the poor, punishing drops.
Strength does add melee physical damage, but only 2%. That's about 1/5 of a melee physical node. Spending 5 points to get 1 point worth of value is like making a L50 character who behaves as though he were L10. For resists, 50 is OK for normal and most of cruel, but more is better and the difference isn't minor either. I just checked your gem choices and that's another problem. Another reason to start over with a new character is there are several new skills and you don't have the gems.

I redid your passive build to show how different it would look if it were more focused. I tried to keep it similar, but there are major changes.

Some things you might notice:
-I dropped almost all the intelligence. If you can't use some of your intelligence gems then drop those gems from your build. Getting the stats to use those gems is holding you back more than those gems are helping you, I guarantee it. Even if the alternative is just to use an empty gem socket, you're still better off.
-I added a lot of life and defenses. As long as you're having such trouble it's better to focus on survival than DPS.

On gear and gems:
-IMPORTANT: Make a skill that hits more than 1 enemy your main skill, ie. the skill with the most links and best support gems for DPS. Currently you have Heavy Strike. That only hits 1 enemy. I suggest Molten Strike to fit with your Fire theme, but it can be Lightning strike if you want since you've already got that gem.
-You don't need so many different skills in your build.
-Get rid of fireball. Don't try to work it into a melee build. As I said in my first post: attacks or casts. Melee is attacks.
-Add an aura to your build, preferably Herald of Ash (again, I'm following your Fire theme).
-Increased rarity & quantity (IIR/IIQ) are good affixes, but not while leveling and especially not while struggling with content. IIR/IIQ represents a tradeoff where you exchange power for economic gain. However, you can't progress because you don't have enough power. To get better items you farm higher level zones, where the economic gain is much larger than what IIR/IIQ can provide. Ditch the IIR/IIQ and get more life, DPS, resist instead.
-I'm just assuming you are using a belt, flasks, rings, and amulet even though you didn't post them, but if you linked everything you have.... there are some gear slots that are empty!

Overall, your gear isn't great but it is good enough for L33. Your character is being held back because you made poor choices in passives, gems, and item focus. Pretty much every choice you were given in character development you have made a bad one. Fixing any 1 of those 3 areas will get you past L33 zones. Fixing any 2 will get you up to content on par with your level. Fixing all 3 your character is a lean, mean killing machine.

Economy is not halting your progress at L42.
Drops are not your problem.
This has to be a troll post. No good drops in 2 days ? Do you realize this is a GRINDING game, which means lots and lots of time investment to get something in return and DON'T pray for GG items, the best items are crafted with currency you earn by learning to trade and playing the game. If you get lucky you got lucky and that is awesome, and don't state that you are not a noob i mean this in a nice way you know this game 2% at best, take some time learn the game and then start playing it with a new perspective i've been playing for 2 years and haven't had a SINGLE GG DROP, not one and i'm not complaining because i know what i got myself into this is an RNG game if you can't handle not getting gear handed to you on a silver platter then this isn't a game for you.

The problem is that you're all over the place... You aren't making a melee character, but a jack-of-all-trades character. Those doesn't work in PoE...

As a melee character, equipment and gems that use Int or Dex by and large shouldn't be used. You simply can not get enough of all stats to do everything, and still have enough for all-important life, protection and damage nodes.

Skill gems:
Flicker strike is not a melee skill... Get rid of it.
Chance to ignite... You're not an elementalist. Get rid of it.
Fireball... You're not a spellcaster. Get rid of it.
Added cold or lightning damage can be used, if you have the stats for them... Not the other way around. If you really need to, and some builds do, get the off-colour stat points from the +30 nodes, or from +20's adjecent to where you already have points. You should have no more than 2-3 of these. If you need more, you should get it from equipment.

Passive tree:
Energy shield... You're a melee character. Energy shield will not be useful to you.
Fire/burning damage. You're not an elementalist. They're of very little use, and far less useful than life or melee damage.
Casting helpers... Not useful for a melee character.

+10 Str nodes does give extra damage, but far less than proper damage nodes.

You have 2 (TWO!) life nodes... and some useless energy shield nodes. You're a melee character, not a spellcaster. Energy shields can work, but require very specialised characters with high-value equipment.
You're combining a glass-cannon build with a character type that by design takes a lot of damage. Go figure how that ends (you already know).

Read what PolarisOrbit wrote above, or follow some of the excellent guides. I've been where you are, with the same problems. The way out of them is to learn...

For a melee build, I'd do a skill tree something like this at your current level.

More damage, more life regeneration, and most important of all, more life, armour and resists!

Another thing I did in the start was not just run one character... I ran 10-20 of them up to L30-40... That meant I accumulated equipment that I could use for the other characters even if I couldn't use it on the character that found it.

If you look me up and mention your post, I will try to help you.
Stop blaming the game and realize that you have to think about what you are doing in this game. After reading your comments I just hope tat you are a troll. Sorry man, but you are a really really bad gamer if you are not trolling.
Which is ok, but be aware of that and try to work on yourself instead of complaining about the game.
You most certainly din't find any item upgrade because your killspeed is in snail speed or more likely you didn't recognize the upgrades you found as upgrades.

@Cyzax
PolarisOrbit:
Thank you.
Well I haven't been here for a year therefore I haven't remembered the orbs I had. So made a steup to fullfill the reqirements in the passive tree.
Now I have only 4 or 5 refund points.
I'll do way I can. The fireball is deffinitely not a good idea.

@Caliginosus do I call you a troll for beeing such a geek that you like everything in this game? Certainly not.

GGG you should bind the drops more with the kind of enemies killed not with the map level.
That would be a good solution.
Played Kingdoms of Amalur again -which is a good example of how the mele dominance should work in close combat.
PoE has many problems, but leveling self-found melee in cruel isn't one of them. Players with enough experience and/or knowledge wouldn't have the same problems as you.

Blame yourself, not the game. Let others help you. And get life nodes pls.
