for me it's definatly rainbow over single resists + using 30MS rares over rainbow boots

i think that outlay is correct. If you can manage to get the resistance on last, well that'd be just perfect. (can make all the versions anyone would ever need then)

if you can manage to get a perfect divine on the ring that'd be even better xD (significantly less likely than the belt sadly haha)



edit: also, not sure if I can get away from the mana on Rainbows. (and +1 gems is a boon to them as well ofc)

Empowering Discipline in them narrows the gap between them and rare boots in es a bit because of the extra 2 levels to the gem that you gain.

compared rainbows with a pair of crafted boots


also discussed a bit with lawyne about the rainbows.
in the end the only thing that count for rainbows might be mana and its +1 (for a clarity and disci).

Discipline levels:

Rainbow(+1): 21Disci + 1 (boots) + 4 (empower) = 26 => 417es
Rare: 21Disci + 3 (empower) = 24 > 383es

Difference of just 24es (Rainbow wins)

200%rainbow give 141es | a good rolled rare ~255-260


Difference of 115-120es (Rare wins)

5int = 1%es
2int = 1mana

thats 50int = 25mana + 10%es
against
100mana if perf legacy + u need 2 different rings with single res to be capped.

20%MS (rainbow) vs 30%MS(Rare)



For me Rainbows are nice to earn a bigger epenor, empowering dmg auras to get max dps output combined with the fastest baseweapon u can find.
But i srly rather corrupt my acuity to get +1 and sit on my Rares, which are way more sexy and bringing me a lot more utility than wearing rainbows.

But in the end i would prefer a curse on hit version over a +1 anyday.

yes lvl 4 empower (in my helmet atm, in a +1 gloves this would perform even better)

not that much for me, like 92,7 against 93,
but iam sitting on 3.4 aps against lawynes 4.5 aps ( the flat ele damage will scale harder with more aps) in the end u will have like 500-1k diff and more mana in ur unreserved pool aswell ( for me its 64 mana with ash against 103 mana with empowered HoI+HoT)
