Working on a sneaky plan - fact is that wearing a 45/45/45 res belt (whether it is 24% phys dmg or 20es implicit) leaves us way overcapped on res. I actually like the 24% phys as it gives you a bit better leech, flat es might just be better though. Dunno. 5% movespeed either way is a great bonus.


In any case, you could drop the implicit res from Honour Knot (so a diamond ring both slots) and run without all res rolls on either ring. Those rolls could become ACCURACY. (400 per ring) You'd be losing 16 + 16 + 12 all res by doing this, or 44 of each res - directly covered by the belt.


What this could let you do is drop Added Accuracy from the 6l while maintaining a similar accuracy rating and still being crit capped. (possibly with some small help from the tree depending how the rounding works out)

Free additional gem in the 6l? yes pls. Can be either an additional dps gem (FA or something) or you could even just stick life leech in and run around at the same dps you get now off of the 6l with Added Acc in. I'd be inclined to go for a dps gem though heh.


The needed rings would then be

Diamond Ring
Prefixes

WED
Flat Mana
20% es

Suffixes

Mana Regen
Accuracy

one with Cold Res, the other with Fire Res (40% lightning on Shav filling in the hole as always)

The only downside is that then leaves you without any flat phys damage on rings. (sadface) Depending on the exact final mana breakdown in theory you could adjust your usage to allow for a flat phys roll there instead of one or both of those - no clue if that is possible in any configuration. (ie Empower vs HoA, some mana nodes in tree, etc. Might gp nowhere as you need a certain level of mana and regen to sustain the lvl22 AA)

Very nice thoughts, did some similar calculations but not worth to talk about.
With another dps gem also the manacost of KB will be higher, which means u need more Mana unreserved (1 point) and still loosing a bit Accuracy.

Dropping HoA for Empower isnt a good idea anymore, since we've dropped Chain and Leech got nerfed.

WED on both rings is a bad idea in my opinion, yes it is high dps but also high reflect, so u should slot a LL gem instead of Accuracy then.

I like the idea of the LL gem very very much tbh!

The only problem is to get the rings... and this is a very big one...

We would need 3 more points to cover crit cap, get enough mana left and cap the resists with ur setup Jake, this results in less ES unless u drop the multiplier nodes (bad idea)

Im havin a diamond ring base from death hold with t1 flat phys, t1 manareg and t2 flat mana (which would be enough) I already tried to roll t1 acc on it but max i got was t3 so I ended up with IAS until i almost went out of eternals....

Yes, Mali + Vaal Pact is bad for BM, no Life regen, thats why u'd need Acuity

So go for Mana ofcourse, and get 20% ES on ur rings ;)
you also could try to get another belt with tri Res so u could drop Purity perhaps

Good idea.
First, i'll try to buy a belt tri res, drop purity, and use + one herald (dont know if herald of thunder or ash, which one?)
The 20% ES is easy, doing right now.
I just need to level up + 5 levels (85 atm).
My DPS is sitting in 26k with purity and low level.

Thunder brings more dps but Ash brings aoe burn, i think u gotta test what fits better in ur setup
