Map Drop Rate Is Shocking

Maps are fine. You just need to learn how to craft them to no enter again the docks.

always remember to first get a stack of maps before starting to go maps.

a few things to consider also.

1)
more players does not increase map drop.
2)
only quantity from the map's own "quantity" boosts map chance.
3)
your own quantity doesn't do anything to map drop either, it's on a different roll.

If by going by these didn't net you a nice amount of maps when you hit around 72-74 then you got another choice, buy some maps from other players.

Ran out of maps at level 79, did a few dock runs and i have 3 maps again.

Out of maps at level 80. I always run them with ~30-50% more item drops, mostly solo or in a small party of friends. I don't care about PUGs. Farming lowbie zones is boring and repetitive.


The droprate for maps is much better than it used to be back in closed beta, but it's still just plain stupid.

You have a brilliant design - endless RNG'd endgame content with limited player customisation, yet you skimp it to the point where people have to stop playing because there's no content available. Why?

Just ran 5 maps with at least 70% quantity including map mods just to find zero maps inside. Bit hard to get higher level maps this way.... Had more luck last night, finding 1-3 in each.

How is it that I have 2 characters approaching 70 and I have not seen a single Map drop, ever? Don't even mention Exalted Orbs.

One and a half day of full grinding; Docks and Dread Thicket with some item quality and quantity. Zero maps. Zero. As a closed beta player, all I can say is this GGG.

I've been playing since OBT started and haven't got a single one in 2 near-70 characters :P probably about 6 days worth of farming Merciless Docks each.

Awkwardly, after this post, bought 5 66 level maps for fusings and guess what? Got 4 maps in the first one, 1 66, 1 67 and 1 68 level.

That RNG..... I'm 74 now and haven't had a single regal, divine or blessed orb drop.
