1000+ jewelers orbs zero 6 sockets
Well GGG it was fun but I will no longer play a game that punishes its players through terrible RNG. All future projects created by GGG will be ignored as well.
For the players that say I could have used Vorici, well that is true except that I was attempting to 6 socket by spending less than 350 jewelers orb's and by the time you reach 250 whats another 100, right? So I kept going at bunches of 100. I mean if most people on the forums seem to do it in 100-150 and on rare occasions 300-400 it shouldn't have been much after the 350 set by Vorici that just by random chance the 6 sockets would have popped. But here I am at over 1000 jewelers orb's spent and not once did it happen. The item I was attempting to 6 socket was an item level 70 Pledge of Hands. |

So what you wanted was a non RNG way to 6 socket - why the *bleep* didn't you use it? BTW, I find on average I need 300+ jewelers to 6s anyways - you were hoping to gamble and beat the house. You lost.

" Yeah, I was trying to beat the house. Just like many people in this game do and from what it seems quite often players do successfully spend less than the 350 cost recipe to 6 socket. Before Vorici there was no other choice but to gamble with the currency. But this example goes beyond just trying to save on some currency. The real issue here is that GGG has created a situation in their game that causes players to quit. If you are in business to make money you want to avoid situations like this. |

" I'm fairly sure GGG has nothing to do with your situation here. You dug your own grave and then jumped into it. Some people used to blame GGG for not giving "an expensive but guaranteed way" and now when one exists, some (the same?) people refuse to use it in hopes of saving currency and still blame GGG when they lose. I don't even... Plus, having done dozens and dozens of 6-sockets before Forsaken Masters, I can "confirm" what Bakslab said earlier in this thread : 350 jewellers for 6-socket is a fairly good price even in the long run. It wasn't very uncommon to sink 700-800 jewellers for 6-socketing. |
