It seems that PoH is the Bis weapon for your build.What about Taryn's Shiver?Is it better than PoH for this build?

Sadly no. I tested. Less DPS, ~1300 less mana and we dont care about freeze we crit which freezes. Not to mention it's only good for cold builds while your PoH is BiS for all 2H casters and it's pretty good for summoner too..only 15% less DPS than a +3 fire staff in SRS.
Taryn's Shiver is BiS for skin though...thats why they are still 20-30C instead of like 3C You get free arcane aura effect and weapon looks cool as hell compared to telephone pole PoH. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep on Jan 3, 2015, 5:02:41 PM

You're gear is nice...
Thats all about gem lvl and your level. 20/20 gems where needed and 20 needed where needed lacking. Inner force lacking which buff auras 26%. You dont have all the cast speed or crit nodes on tree etc. Give it time. Here is my DPS in town no powercharges with same 5 gems you using...Gems make HUGE difference. I noticed the skill path is different on hardcore. Mainly, you seem to get % freeze nodes over crit.
My question, do you still get power charges on hardcore or use other curses like Warlords and Frostbite? twitch.tv/rasereiamok
