Admittedly I don't know much about programming but couldn't the Shadow and Duelist animations be modified for male Scions and Witches?

Maybe GGG will add new voice MTX that overrides the scion dialogue.
Then all you need is a big helmet. Never underestimate what the mod community can do for PoE if you sell an offline client.

Totally unimportant request that would add nothing to the core game unless male or female would have different specific ingame attributes that would affect gameplay. It already takes a long time to model armour models on all the different classes. I guess there is more than enough work yet to do in the art and modeling department.
Diablo 2 also had gender restricted classes.  I knew girls that played this in the nineties and honestly no one gave a shit.  Heart of Purity
