General Discussion - Desync - Forum - Path of Exile

I don't know what has been changed in the past week or so, but now the desync is simply unbearable. I can hardly even play melee tanks anymore. I just feel hugely disappointed. The game is incredible. I wish that I could play. its funny cause diablo 2 still desyncs today, also your usually gonna have a bad time playing outside of your gateway, so check the instance before you enter it. it sucks sometimes for playing but its great cause you can trade from all regions. Yeah, the guy I play with most is, like, in Scandinavia. Either he has shit ping or I do. But we work well together and get along socially, so it's worth it for me. Sticking to your own gateway is probably the easiest way to reduce issues such as desync. Of course, if you happen to be in Australia and rely on the SG gateway you're kinda fucked any way you slice that pie right now. ^_^ If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. They opened this beta to make a very resourceful test + to make a lot of pre sell over shop features. If you say its only for being good and let players enjoy game earlier, you are being so naive. THey have 2 ways now for this game, first is to put 1 million more pathces, skills quests, items, maps etc. and do not make this desync your #1 priority (means %100 of GGG company workers are working on it) you will have 50-100 players at the end and say GG to this game. Second is , until official release of game do not make even 1 patch, do not add any new thing at all but solve the desync asap , i can guarantee you that they will double their player count easily because game skill, leveling, quest and mapping system is way better then other games.
