Desync

Probably the 1243124134 Thread about it but anyway.

It hasn't really happen to me, or i dint really notice it, but i see ppl complaining about it

Just wondering if its really a problem.

I don't want to have to experience it while in the heat of battle and die because of it.
It happens, it also depends on your playstyle quite a bit, if you use abilities that makes you move fast all the time it's more likely to happen (like shield charge, flicker strike, whirling blades and such).
Nothing to see here.
Type /oos in chat...

Before, during and after combat...

You'll notice it...

Generally speaking it syncs you up with the server, you'll notice mobs and corpses warping to where they really are instead of where they are "falsely" shown on your screen.

Please stop posting that command all the time in every post you make, if everyone is using that command all the time it will only end up getting worse.

I doubt it would make it worse for the rest of us. It should help improve the gameplay of those using it. If it does hurt others it will force GGG to fix the issue. I can't play a melee without using /oos every 5 seconds (which I have script to do for me).
As if they aren't already working on it

/sigh

I was thinking about making an autohotkey script to do that for me actually...

By the way, I think the issue here is that the developers are so tight-lipped on this issue, more than anything else, which is rather disappointing.

Could you link the script please?

@topic: This probably doesn't happen to you because you don't have large amounts of movement speed / aren't using abilites that move you around or effect monster-movement-speed.

Haha I lied. It's actually just a script that binds F3 to hit enter, type /oos, and hit enter again. I was working on one (very little effort so far) that would do it on an interval. My issue was detecting if you had either shift or alt held down simultaneously. Alt+Enter would toggle between fullscreen and windowed mode and Shift+Enter would turn global chat back on; neither of which are favorable.

I'll probably get around to making the script work at some point and I'd make a post for it, but I'm not sure if that's against GGG terms or anything so I'd have to clear it with them first.
