Never had high latency now 300+ but only in maps/withWinMtr data

Restarting rooter,PoE blah blah starting to play everything is alright latency is about 50-60 like last couple of years since CB.As soon as i enter any map latency goes to 300+.When was running underground river with high ping encountered Vagan entered his arena no latency there.Then Returned to map again ping goes up and when i return to town it goes down again to 50-60.Like i said never had high latency in PoE.
P.S.The Ingrish iz strong... Running about 80ms in HO, but it jumps to 300+ when I enter any play area.
Looks to me like some shit is going on with the internetz around Netherlands. Probably some DOS shenanigans. Gonna check back later to see it its playable. |

Yeah, same shit here. 40 ping in hideout/town, 350ish any map or merci sarn etc. Didn't happen when I played yesterday. The ping is also completely stable, so there's no fishy torrents/downloads going on.

Sounds like this might be similar to what I am experiencing.
http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1087161 Last few days, ping has been really bad, and extremely bad desync (probably due to the higher ping). But only when I mapping (I haven't done any merc areas the last few days, only been running lvl 68, 69 and 70 maps. | |

Do you play maps in parties with other players? It is possible that you are joining instances hosted on their gateways. If not, i'd start with restarting your modem/router, checking your firewall and antivirus programs are not interfering with Path of Exile's connectivity, and using a wired connection to your modem/router. Thanks for answers, but today i logged in and all problems are gone.I didnt do anything you sugested its just everything back to normal.Latency is the same everywhere again.Thanks again and we dont need this thread anylonger.Oh and i was playing alone when that crazy stuff hapened.(If it matters now)

i am experiencing very unstable connection on poe as well, lag spikes and missconnections, but my internet is working fine with anything else, just having problems with poe
