" Point blank is great but the projectiles aren't the main focus of this build. It's about heavy single target damage with Ash-on-steroids making up the AoE. The molten strike lava balls are just a bonus. I'll add this point in the notes. So many strikes within one breath.

Streamlined the thread a bit, removed unnecessary scrolling.

I don't really like lightning strike to much as the projectiles don't always have something to hit and they also don't always pierce. Basically you don't hit as many monsters at once.
But for this build and the picard manoeuvre (whatever that's supposed to mean) such a high single target damage is awesome. Looking forward to videos. I think you might even be able to try uber atziri with lightning strike, if you can move around well.I mean, the guy in the range forums dies it with 200k and everything dies really fast. He did have lots of avoidance to help him if he ever made a mistake. For try, for see, and for know.

Changed the thread around.
- Moved the Advanced spec into the first post - Created a new "Vulcan's Hatred" version in the second thread. Here I did extensive testing of the Ash buff. I originally read somewhere that Hatred is useless with Ash since the bodies shatter and the burn doesn't happen since theres no body. This is true, but not with ele proliferation. I have found that the original body shatters but those affected with ele prolif still burn, and the burn spreads in the normal way prolif does. This has led me to reassess the build to incorporate the immense power of hatred, so "Vulcan's Hatred" was created. - 234k (337k with promise and vaal haste) dps with Bino/Snakebite/Catalyst/Coil approx 65ex in gearing - 468k (672k with promise and vaal haste) dps with end game gear approx 485ex in gearing I will upload Atziri runs asap So many strikes within one breath.
