About Acuity gloves and vaal pact

I'm over the changes they made to the leech mechanics. Dumb changes IMO but I get that they're not reverting.

The problem is that these gloves are uber crazy OP and GGG still has not learned that rarity is not a solution to balance items. The gloves should grant the Vaal Pact keystone. If they want the gloves be OP, make it grant the Vaal Pact keystone for both life and mana. That would be an OK halfway point between what they are now (game breaking worse than Shavs) and what they should be. The gloves should NOT render a keystone 100% useless.

The thought that they nerfed normal leech stacking and vaal pact leeching just to make sure that obvious OP gloves would have no competition though still leaves a nasty taste in my mouth though. If it was just one or the other then maybe I would've been ok with it, but to nerf everything that way around the same time was just to much for me.
Aren't the vorici gloves with leach effectiveness implicit a shot at this?

Combined 40% from vaal pact, 10% from leach gem quality i think it is and then 40% from the vorici gloves.

And with that new armor that also increases leach rate effectiveness you can actually cap over 100% imo.

Vaal Pact, in fact, provides 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% increased leech rate. But it also provides 60% LESS leech. That's what it does with life leech. When you have Vaal pact, increases (or decreases - like map mod) to life leech rate have NO EFFECT!!! So, with Vaal Pact, Vorici's Gloves are useless, as wel as quality on life leech gem. 50% regen maps wont affect your life, either (they will affect your mana though).

...well, it actually is a solution.
It may not be the approach to the subject that you (or me) would have prefered, but it definetly is a solution.

"Gloves too op" -> reduce access to them -> "Gloves still op, but not so many are available to be misused"

1. That's not how Vaal Pact works.

2. life leech gem? Urgh! Don't want that stuff in my 5-6L. ;)

3. Voricis Gloves have two issues:
-> low item level
-> you'd have to "augment-regal-exalt-exalt-exalt" them into something useful. Good luck. ;)

Acuity is broken as hell with the broken shavs and the broken crit mechanism. It's just a trifecta of brokenness and needs to be toned down IMO.

Vaal pack is fine as is. Instant leech is huge you may just have to slot a life leech gem unlike acuity users who can get away with 2% on belt/weapon. In addition to life leech there is warlords mark. Warlord mark + LL + vaal pack is imba and powers through anything with moderate mitigation. This combo allow you to do no regen reflect maps even.. No buff needed.

Everything about how they designed Atziri/Uber Atziri (and really, SotV in general) leaves a very nasty taste in my mouth.

IMO GGG took leave of their collective senses with everything they did in that patch.
Endgame content gated beyind low level farming? Check.
Endgame boss with completely different loot pattern than the rest of the game, simulating MMO raids instead? Check.
Useless ultimate gems? Check.
Nerfs to passive tree to force players to use brand new broken we-don't-care-about-balance OP items? Check.
Design new content to force even more wealth and power to the top 0.1% of players? Check.

I could go on... everything about it was godawful, and these gloves and the leech changes are probably just one of the more egregious examples.
