Solo, reporting in.

I consider myself a solo player but I do party with my GF on my tank toon. No Guild or random parties, though. All other toons are solo build/style.

I also trade as often as I can, as collecting nice items and trading them or rolling new toons for them has been my M.O. since vanilla D2.

I solo because this game is not good for making friends. I just wish GGG didn't penalize players for playing solo as much as they do. I've gotten my IRL friends to play this game but none of them ever make it to end game, and finding other competent players in game is just tedious.

I get sick of hand-holding noobs, at the detriment of my own wealth, only to have them quit before they can offer any real help in a party.

I'm grinding for 8/8 right now and if I had to do it solo, I would kill myself.

Groups add no benefit to map drops. The only benefit to grouping is to run other peoples maps.
