Good rare chest is still superior.
In the best case you have Atziri's Splendour with 740es 72total res.
In boss fights 100 life gained wont help much.

In the best case with a rare one you could have around 700-750es and place for 3 more 45% resistence.

Ive got the feeling you think uniques are everytime better then rares:D

wouldnt the 270-300 % es with the extra es it is giving much more than the regalia?

Check poe.xyz on standard league. +99 flat; 297% inc. = almost perfect and it got 701ES

best rare there got 941ES and 44% tri-res. (Demon Shroud vaal regalia /standard)
