How many people will be lucky to play this game on aug10th??

I just singed up but id say most of the people will be able to play the beta @ the first day. I wont complain if i dont get chosen though, ive been here only 2days.

Someone mentioned 10k and 50k...

Lottery will choose the people or for other reasons. I also wonder how many people think that entering the beta, I've heard comments on other fansites to enter 100 a day. Is this true greetings from girona

The total number of registered accounts is somewhere around 50k I believe. Admins have said that best case scenario they might invite about 100 per day, up to maybe 10,000 in total. Of course this could be very different depending on how the test goes.

100 a day sounds like a pretty small amount of people!

I think that this game has managed to get a following even larger than the creators had hoped for! We can all but wait with crossed fingers that we are one of the lucky ones!

Considering the alpha test is something like 50 people, I don't think it's too bad.

Also i think game junkie (stuff.co.nz) will have to get in on the beta as I think alot of people have found out about this from his blog!! I'll start up the group "game junkie for beta!!"

Chris has stated that they inventing 100 at a time because they're wanting to ease in bigger groups on their server. I think they're being cautious as they don't know how their server/game can handle 100's of players logging in and playing at one time.

I'm sure if it's going really well, they will probably up that number.
