1.2 Tornado not that good? Ice or split maybe?

Can anyone who's tested pierce tell if piercing shots is worth 5points?

I guess it would be with Drillneck, but without ... doubt it, first shoot pierces already and the other destroy mob packs with 1-2 kills when critting.

Actually, I didn't forget it. I have 103pts available and the one you linked is 108. It would have been my next pickup. I figured crit was important and life.

How about this. I removed the accuracy nodes and the 3 attackspeed/accuracy hyrbrid on yours for the 2 attack speed at the bottom. Also removed profane chemistry to get crit and life/evasion.


Would a Lioneye Glare work well with this? I have one 6l in my stash.

heh, but how do you handle reflect then with other bows? Just the lower chance to hit you hope to leech and not die? Would LGOH counter the reflect? although that would not be the best way to go the entire time... hmmm darn

Unless I go IR I suppose but then I'd have to take away acrobatics... plus it'd be IR. that won't work. Guess I'll need a different bow to try this out.

It's too bad cause I don't know what to do with that then just yet.

You have 100% hit chance so every roll if you get critical damage from reflect is YES FUCK YOU HARD 30K IN YOUR FACE.

If you play carefully you can use Lions Glare of course, but don't do it in Hardcore ;).

So I started this league wanting to try out that new bow skill, "Tornado Shot".
Thus I searched the Forum for input on what the f to link with it. I stumbled across someone saying "TS+GMP+Pierce+FA+PPAD+crit dmg".
I made myself a tree and started playing and so far I got to 77 and from my experience Pierce is a must. I tested with Pierce and without and without felt so much more uneffective, slow. Just like split arrow without Chain makes no sense for me it is the same with Pierce and Tornado shot.


My current build:Passive skill tree build
I plan on picking up Charisma so I can test running Grace+Hatred+HoF.
If I ever obtain a 6L I would use: "TS+GMP+Pierce+pcoc+crit dmg+FA/Added fire"
For Single Target meh I did not have a single Target attack until 75 when I found myself a Frenzy and Puncture. I must admit even with a 3l Puncture it is scary dmg on bosses if you keep them moving. But I prefer Frenzy atm because I kind of like keeping up Charges from time to time.
TS:
My DPS with 5 Powercharges and 3 Frenzy up: 7662 When my friend shares Powercharges.
DPS with 5 Powercharges and 3 Frenzy: 5728
DPS with 5 Powercharges only: 5243

Puncture: 5Powercharges: 13,800 (Puncture+Inc Crit dmg+PPAD)
Frenzy: 5 Powercharges: 13:769 Same links as with puncture.

Defensive Stats: 2,6k HP atm 30% evade (3k eva) with flask 50%
Currently I am saving up for a Drillneck Quiver and Rat´s Nest.
Meanwhile I pray to GGG for some luck on my iLvL 77 Harbringer 100%+ Phys roll+Crit/Phys roll+Master = upgrade for me :)

If anyone has some Tips or improvements, be it links I should try or Skilltree wise I appriciate every ounce of Feedback. :)

Yeah, what really got me was I had thought there was an evasion chance but the reflect using your own accuracy (stop hitting yourself) makes that null. Also, I was hoping to use that bow. I'll have to use it elsewhere. This still looks like fun. Whenever I get the time I'll give it a try

Just started a TS build and I'm clearing Merciless Fellshrine at ridiculous speeds, this is great. I've got TS+GMP+LMP+PPAD+FA at the moment, but it sounds like most people are foregoing PPAD for more crit or Pierce? I'm using Infractem at the moment but once I upgrade I might give Pierce a shot. I've gotta say that with both GMP and LMP the damage is absurd; plus I found a Thief's Torment ring and all the arrows keep me healed and full of mana pretty much all the time. Don't even need mana leech.

Current passive is here, I'm about to respec into the Ranger start instead of grabbing the Scion life wheel (when I started I was thinking of getting Resolute Technique, but I've changed my mind on that).
