Why not make a Necromancer path for the witch?
You do realize that you can do all of this already, but you just won't get that title labeling you as such?
Want to be a Necromancing Witch? Go get the Necromancy skills and level them up, and voila, you have yourself a Necromancer Witch. Doesn't need to be labeled for it to be one. Adding specializations and limiting options would defeat the purpose of the direction this game is going for. |

" I completely agree! I also hope there will be (enough) illusionist or warlock type spells available so you can actually make these types of classes. |

I tested a necro witch a bit ago and have to say it's rather fail. Had 9 zombies and 5 specters at lvl 20 but they don't follow you that well so it's not great. Specter archers = awesome, zombies = suck. Half the time they'll get stuck attack a mob and wont port on you when the leash distance is reached so you have to summon more.
It works decently enough through the first play through and makes an amazing meat shield but it's too slow and crowded with all of them around. Don't think it would last very long past level 40 or so. |

Would be cool if the IA on the summons would be any good. But i love the idea.
Why so serious?

I agree, I like the way it is, it doesnt classify, it allows u to choose and pick to make your own classification

how about to do things like in borderlands when you take a skill in a certen skill tree and gain a title depending on how much skill point you have spent on just that
skill tree. for example: theres 3 ways of passive skills in the INT tree, the first way is good for a priest, aoura that increse healing, faster spell cast, etc in this group you will maby have the titl " "Suport caster" the secend is more of a dmg mage, where you got magic crit, mp regen, etc in this groupe you will maby have the title "Damage Caster" and then the third way is god for summoner (yes like necro and druid), chans that the summon will be healed when he kill, incres crit on summons, etc and in this groupe you will get the title "Summoner" and just as i did say above all this text, depending what passive skills you take on you got a title. so for one more example if you place your skill point 50/50 on: damage caster and suport caster will be "Clerik" or support caster and summoner "Druid" or summoner and damage caster will be "Necromanser" now it dont have to JUST like this but its a ide that maby work if it got some time to think over. PS:I just finde the game and have no ide what type of spells there is and so. o... and sorry for my bad eng ^^ Last edited by ossy99#4893 on Sep 5, 2011, 7:55:48 PM

Specializations do negate the point of free building with gems. I want to be able to make a Templar Necromancer, and this could potentially let me.
