If Diablo 2 belonged to this era...
" You could still play D2 :) I've felt the same way a lot of times. So I'd fire up my copy of D2 (I still have the discs for it lol), play for about an hour, realize that it's boring now, and what I was actually missing were the memories of my old days of D2. So, I close D2 and go to playing some newer game. | |
Fun fact is that the most annoying thing in PoE for me is that every build is focused around 1 skill only and then we just spam it over and over like LA, EK, FP etc. I miss more skill usage.
It is fun because I did the same in D2 back in the days, spamming Bone Spirits or Frozen orbs and it was fun at that time but not now. I dont look forward to play an Ice Spear toon in the new expansion. |

Haha, we used to play D2 at scholl with my friend not so long ago on my notebook during the class (No worries, we graduated). It was fun definitely but yeah the game is old now. Back than it really was "wow" worthy.
I understand the point of this thread I just hope PoE stays around for a long time. And when the time comes for GGG to move on, hopefully we'll get offline version which the community could mess up with (adding mods and what not). kiwi nation

" I dont do that, i use around 5 or 6 skills depending on what i deem useful for any given build. I do lots of hybrids like summoner/ST scion and 2h staff/summoner marauder. Not everyone does these 1 button 6L items builds that get their 10k dps easily and faceroll most parts of the game. |

" That all depends. If you want to compare hardcore summoning (D2) to casual summoning (D3), PoE is very similar to D2, for example. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |
