just remade my searing bonder....they buffed it. so much ele dmg now on the tree...i thinki know what cheap i will make at start of the league.

then doing a crit ci/volt.

btw anyone noticed we now have tons of ways to gain mana on hit back...i mean it was always useful at early levels but it seems now you may need it (clarity nerf??) cause i already found alot of those nodes.

dagger has even more crit now. and i have the feeling that freezing pulse with all those insane cold notes will also have a new revival (also due to spell echo being that strong for casters).

or fp maybe with three dragons and those nice ignite notes on the three+crit...mmmmh!

Hmmm, played a bit with the new skill tree and it seems to be that now you really need to go out of your way to grab life nodes to get to at least 150%, at least when starting with a witch. Taking 3% life nodes feels so underwhelming.

What exactly was OP about ST...ohh right it didnt cost 150ex. There was NOTHING op about it at all. CoE was op and should just be removed, shaves should probably get another nerf as well. Anyone with a low-life CoE build could literally swap in ANY skill that worked with their weapon and do just as well, hell FK swapped to flicker strike because it cleared faster.

The only thing that ST was good for by itself was a budget starter build that could map and farm stuff to trade. You know, you could have fun and play the game, like you're supposed to.

So basically if you don't intend to grind out 150+ex for gear, don't even bother.
I have been looking over the new tree and the changes looks amazing.
I just have a few issues:

1: Static Blows: you have to get +8% lightning damage to get to static blows, this is a wasted point for Three Dragon's builds, I think you should make it possible to path around the other way (through the 5% shock chance) or change this lightning damage node to something else.

2: Coldhearted Calculation and/or Quickness: Neither of these 2 notables benefits elemental wand/bow builds, but you need to path through one of them to get the crit nodes and/or Nullification.

I just noticed Finger's of frost have the same problem as Static Blows, you have to get cold damage, but Holy Fire does not have this problem.

Did they remove all +max resi nodes from the tree?

For me it looks like starting as witch will be kinda hard since u waste so many points on "+10 int" nodes. fml
as the biggest supporter they had once said :

Death of (let me guess) 70% of builds ?

- they even took away 2% life leech from marauder and put that to shadow ? wow
- no more 41% mana reduce (no Low life with 2 60% auras)
- where is -max res gone ?
- life on items lost its worth (GGG send me 20 regrets to respec Oak,as its value is greatly reduced)
... tired of counting up more

time to move on ? maybe .. maybe not who knows
