Don't quite think any of you understand what my point is, maybe I'm wording it wrongly.
I LIKE the game, the graphics are AMAZING, the gameplay is REALLY GREAT. My issue so to speak is, what we do we once we have all of the best gear, I'm not criticising the creators, I'm not being an arse about any of it, I'm simply asking what are we to do with all of this good gear? I understand the concept is to carry on grinding and playing the new content when it's added, but why not add something else where people don't necessarily need to continuously grind simply for the purpose of grinding for those of us who don't simply want to go through the same dungeons and end content time after time. My suggestion was to add something which it would be worth while using it on SUCH AS upgrading the PVP feature, maybe creating a server where people COULD go into one anothers' dungeons and kill other players for maybe specific loot or achievement points, something rewarding and worth while, online PVP tournaments where you can use your newly found gear. I'm not denying that people don't like this hack and slash grinding genre of games, however it could draw in MORE people or add MORE features, I doubt adding these features would decrease numbers. My whole point with the indie statement was that I understand it would take time to implement such features and it would take time to get round to taking on such features, so why the likes of know it all's such as indeliblestain feel the need to take a defensive stance against some feedback on what myself and one hundred or so other people believe is beyond me. Surely if WE feel this way about the game, then others MIGHT feel the same way. You've stated your own opinions based on what you feel, I'm pointing out what a slightly larger audience believe. Stop getting your back up about it. |

Perhaps read through the dev posts in general, and in suggestions forum (stickied in both places). In other games - you get a cookie whether you win or lose. PoE not only takes your cookie and eats it in front of you, it slaps you upside the head a few times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

From what I've ever played of hack n' slash dungeon crawlers, this game is pretty much exactly what I think of. I played Diablo 1 through 3 and Torchlight 1 and 2. I'm not sure there is anything missing from the game, imo. ARPG's as a genre generally attract certain people, and keep certain people as active players. I don't believe there is anything wrong with having differing opinions on who likes what games. For instance, I cannot stand WoW, but millions of other people enjoy it.
If we were all the same and all enjoyed the same things, life would be incredibly dull. I'm sure they will be adding in additional content, these games usually do. I personally won't be doing pvp because it is not my cup of tea, but I'm content with the content that is currently in place as I beta test the game. |

Wow why are you guys bashing him for no reason so hostile he is just trying to work with us to figure out how we can improve POE and its classic ARPG formula and I do agree with him the genre and in particular this game can do so much better :) its just its hard to find what can make this game really shine :D .

well i can see only good part of this, also when i saw this game i was like wow perfect and it kinda still is, game does not hook you up cos after you finish act 3 there is nothing to do any more and you can play something else and keep this game in memory as rly good spent time!
for me it would be more interesting to have 9 acts in a row with different story, quests and maps instead of 3x3 the same, i rly do not see the point making that level 80 if i can kill last boss in level 30 in normal mod, why? whats the point of redoing all this again just harder? :D bad part is that it finished too soon cos in two days we finished normal mode with friends and now kinda nothing to do , would want to play some more but it also would seem to be waste of time just to try get better and better gear and level just to prove something to someone or i dont know why rly anyone should try to do it few days ago i found one streamer who had like so imba gear all +20 quality, so many charactdrs, and he was talking on teamspeak or something with his friends about what they could do now, it seemed that mosp peole are just so bored than after getting everything they still have to sit there and think - what they could possibly try to make again , and its kinda sad :( #Poe_fix lf players to play with, do maps together and so on
