You are here playing and posting... that's your problem. I do not know how other people work, but I play when I like something. If I do not like, if I do not feel comfortable, I don't play.

I don't understand this number fetish at all. I dont care if a game I like is played by 100 or 1M players.

As long as there are enough money to sustain the servers (and Chris stated that game is doing good) the ONLY thing that matters to me is that I like the game and my friends like to play it with me.

PS : Incidentally, we managed to stay in D3 for whooping few days before got disgusted. PoE holds us since closed beta. So what is more important, quality of the game or player base?

According to SteamCharts a whooping average of 4k players play the game concurrently on a daily basis.
And on a economy driven game which is also free-to-play ..such things as bot accounts do not exist. All the PoE players that are counted on the charts are genuine unique players.

reading these kind of threads i really think whether i should start my poe client via steam again. stopped using steam client like 6 months ago
